Peterjason Aranez Soulwax FM is what I listen to the most in V, but it's a shame it has basically no trance! :\ If they made it more like Rise FM, or heck, like SA's SF-UR, it would be better.

I copied this onto a minidisc and played it at a house party back in 2002, the whole floor was banging. Bit of a passion killer when it ended, but for the half hour it played I was a god!!

@@jackcravford8744 I managed to drop it in by flipping the amp selecter to AUX and played it through my lil' minidisc Walkman while my DJ friend took a break... it was brilliant! But I had to shove him back on the decks as it came to and end. The hands, as they say, were in the air...! 👐🙌👐👋🖐👌🤝😊

the part starting near 11:15 is legendary... instant flashbacks from gta 3 at that point... game was hard as fuck for me back in 2001 (got the game basically right after the release, actually my mother bought it for me for my birthday, i wanted the game called driver tho but the guy at the store had recommended gta 3 to my mother and i'm glad he did :D) and i was a little kid back then like 7 years old lol... best memories are from gta 3 and san andreas :)))

i get my first pc when i was 12... my dad had installed gta 3 in my pc but i wanted San Andreas... man... i appreciated this game so much that when i played by angry i turned off and i saw thats a AWESOME FUCKIN GAME that ever seen in my life!!! No other gta's can do what gta 3 did to me ( ;=;)

I remember this as I was going up Saint Mark's hill with that banshee and that song playing while the sun was rising. I replayed that moment when GTA3 became 10 years old and I couldn't help but cry. Those were the golden years of my childhood.

​@@policeman911pdman rise fm from lcs was a house radio station, the change from house to trance is a drastic change but I don't mind it at all. I actually quite like both of em, same goes to the msx 98 in lcs and msx fm in 3

trance and drum and bass music was huge in the club scene when gta3 was released. thats why they made msx and rise fm

As soon as 10:20 hit you knew you couldn't leave the car or switch stations until that one masterpiece was played. And you never got bored of it.

Rise Fm was one of my favorite radio stations to listen to in GTA 3 and that rave mission that you take Maria to was the most action packed in the game. RISE FM FOREVER 2001!

The best vibe ever in a game ,was this game when it also rained & this station. doing mission xd

I don't care if it comes out on the next gta doc or gta game, I want a radio station that plays this kind of music. Perfect for driving fast in a fast car in the middle of the city. Rockstar, give us a radio station just like this one

I don’t know if your still here dude but recently they announced a remaster for all 3 GTA 3D games; III, VC, & SA One thing I really hope they’ll do for GTA online is to be able to play the radio stations from the past games Just like you said, Blasting Rise FM while driving in a Banshee 900R

I grew up poor and got to play this game in 2010-2011 on my step dads old ps2. I started playing gta 3 on my phone cuz of the Netflix partnership thing they have and I instantly got back into this radio station. Absolutely love it.

Ahhh.. I am back again.. my first trance mix, probably. and still as good as ever, a fine wine.

Best radio station in this game IMO.

Its a shame that trance was only big in the late 90s right up to about when this game was released.

Neo the One on RISE introduced me to GTAIII. I remember driving of the bridge doing a power slide around a corner whilst the song played. RISE was the best channel of the lot.

Rise FM was a special thing in gta 3. It just perfectly fit the game, the whole town. Maybe its just my memory but i cant imagine GTA 3 without RISE FM. I was like hmm 13 years when gta3 came out, but ithis radio still is in my mind. Cant even remember a station from IV, V or whatever gta. Soundtrack from 3 was so fuckin awesome.

Even though I listened MSX FM more, this station is what got me into Trance music. The last 2 tracks by Slyder were just instant Euphoria and bliss, it was truly something refreshing! This game got me into EDM all together. My favorite of all time and definitely a game to live on with the likes of mario and tetris and pac man... this game was amazing!

This brings tears to my eyes. My Life is almost complete.

Listened to all of it, actually changed my life.

I don't even like "electro-dance" music, but I just love this for some reason. At least it's better than Electro Choc, that's for sure. Also, what memories are you all speaking about? Just replay the damn game, like I'm doing with all GTA's before V comes out. Also, playing it on Android almost every day, it's awesome.

GTA III is the best game ever. :) I remember listening to Slyder Score song on it, it was like I was listen to heaven. I always was scared of when Andre-the-accelerator was going to be replaced by "DJ-Nickslip".

*Judging by the fact that the events of GTA 3 took place in 2001, it is not so ancient.*

Listening 23:45 and 24:40 while driving a banshee at full speed chasing Catalina's chopper to kill the bitch, is the best sensation that a videogame gave me! EPIC!

+Ashley Lewis the Physics Engine supported flight, but it was released in 2001, and had in the late beta phase a mission there you had to flight a dodo into a building, in order to destroy the intire building. That was removed after the events of 9/11 and also the dodo was cut down, to get more or less unflyable.

its sad that people that have not played GTA 3 can not relate to this .... its still the most god damn amazing radio station that has ever been a part of a GTA game... in GTA V i've added the downloaded mp3 to the user radio stations folder just for the feeling =)

i never realised how good the songs were as i was young when i played gta for the first time, but now that i listen to them again, they sound sooo good. Kudos Rockstar Games.
