@@BOZ_11 , actually 2 years and 4 months. Because until 2022 there were also so-called "Stage Finals", which were essentially the same QuakeCons, except that they were slightly lower in status. And the last such tournament (QPL Season 2, Stage 2 Finals) - Rapha won at the end of April 2021 And it is precisely taking into account Stage Finals of Seasons 1 and 2 of QPL (because there were no Stage Finals in Season 3 and 4) - it is clear that Rapha significantly outperforms all the other Top Pro players in Quake Champions. Because Rapha won: 1. Quake World Championship 2023 (LAN) 2. QPL Season 2, Stage 2 Finals (Online) 3. QPL Season 2, Stage 1 Finals (Online) 4. Quake World Championship 2020 (Online) 5. QPL Season 1, Stage 2 Finals (LAN) In addition, Rapha took: 3rd place at Quake World Championship 2021 (Online) 3rd place at QPL Season 1, Stage 3 Finals (Online) 3rd place at QPL Season 1 Kickoff / QuakeCon 2019 (LAN) . . . For comparison, here are the results of the rest of the most successful pro league players. Killsen won: 1. Quake World Championship 2022 (LAN) 2. QPL Season 1, Stage 3 Finals (Online) 3. QPL Season 1 Kickoff / QuakeCon 2019 (LAN) In addition, Killsen took: 3rd place at QPL Season 2, Stage 1 Finals (Online) 3rd/4th place with Cypher at QPL Season 1, Stage 1 Finals (LAN) Poor guy Raisy took 2nd place at: 1. Quake World Championship 2023 (LAN) 2. Quake World Championship 2022 (LAN) 3. Quake World Championship 2021 (Online) 4. QPL Season 2, Stage 1 Finals (Online) 5. Quake World Championship 2020 (Online) 6. QPL Season 1, Stage 2 Finals (LAN) 7. QPL Season 1, Stage 2 Finals (LAN) Vengeur won Quake World Championship 2021 (Online), and took: 3rd place at Quake World Championship 2023 (LAN) 3rd place at QPL Season 2, Stage 2 Finals (Online) 3rd place at Quake World Championship 2020 (Online)

Getting good is one thing staying good is another consistency is key, you don't always play at the same level every game especially high stakes when the championship is at stake, the pressure was on both of them, but rapha seemed to pull it off and not crumble under pressure, the psychological game is huge as well.

RAISY rocks. Cooller, evil, DaHang, they are legends of the game, yet none of them won a QuakeCon either. They all managed to place 2nd 3 times. RAISY: 4 times. RAISY already etched his name into Quake history. And RAISY is still young, still has plenty of time to even win a QuakeCon. Actually he has the highest chance to win from those who never won yet.

Rapha is a crowd favorite not just because he's good, but because he's just the ultimate sportsman. Every disadvantage, every weakness, every challenge just becomes a puzzle for him to solve. Not only does that mean that he keeps things constructive and positive, but it also means he can really talk clearly about his mental process and the flow of the game like no one else can. He's both a champion level player and an amazing ambassador for the game; a rare combination

Have you ever joined any of his streams on twitch? He whines and complains about every single thing. Sometimes, refuses to give any credit to his opponents outright. Watch his match vs Maxter in QPL this season to see his "sportsmanship". He's the goat of quake, no question about it but he's not some "ultimate sportsman"

@@AK-mz9yk I've watched it and yeh I found it annoying to watch and it sure irritated me. He has an easier time complementing his opponents when he's winning. He certainly has a certain arrogance, but it can not be denied that he's one of the best Quake players ever, if not the best. His game sense/decision making is probably the best out there. He is so capable of knowing when to attack and does not seem to run into rockets when he does like most others do. That's a skill, not luck.

RAISY keeps doing the same mistakes through the years, it really sad and kinda frustrating to watch. Flaws: A) picks - Scale on Ruins on LAN with so many champs left? xD Visor on Awoken while Doom still left ? (I realize he might have been trying to take it away from Rapha for the future games, but thats not the way to play this). The WB final were even worse for him. B) Bans - in the WBFinal, he didnt ban Keep. Before anyone says Raisy's keep. Rapha is F** INSANE on that map. He even mentioned it in one interview its the best map of his in comparison to others, bcs there is no rail involved, which can bring some outer elements from the game away.

The esports where NA still doing well. I mean yeah, Arena FPS like Quake hard carrying NA esports as a whole. NA have produced a legendary player like Thresh, Fatal1ty, czm, Zero4, Rapha, and Dahang. EU had Death, AV3k, Vo0, Toxjq, CyPher, Raisy and Cooller, Asia had RocketBoy, Jibo and Prox1mo. OCE region used to had a great player called, HarlsoM. As for now, Rapha is still competing and dominating. He is a living legend & deserve a GOAT status and carrying NA on top of the Arena FPS esports!

Another stupid Grand Final, like the last years! Rapha starting with 1-0 lead. Rapha had SOOOO much more time to relax than the Loser-Bracket-Winner (Raisy). Why the hell is the Grand Final on the same day as the regular Tournament Matches?

Seriously, next time put Grand Finals at the end of the title you absolute muppets. Wasn't able to watch Quakecon live and you've successfully spoilert the entire thing for me with having Grand finals at the start of the title. If it was at the end the thumbnail would've meant absolutely nothing if i would've stopped reading the title at the first player name but with how you did, well, thanks again...

Also add a lot of blank space at the end of a video, because when it was 2-1 for Rapha and noticed how much time was left I also knew who had won.

the community of the game is simply too small to provide a proper match making based on the skill of the player, the game is dead anyway, the last video was uploaded 10 months ago, no more tournaments

its a big joke isnt it? i just hope if they reanimate the quake franchise, ID themselves do it, get rid of classes and focus heavily on multiplayer. for so many years OSP and CPMA showed how its done, by improving quake3arena. and then quake4 came out and the MP was laughable, starting from scratch, as they bothered looking at what the community wants
