Grand Cherokee High Altitude Pushed to its Limit | Hungry Valley 4x4 Mud Activity Center

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Having fun with a Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4x4 in the mud at the 4x4 Activity Center/Practice Area in Hungry Valley. Lots of fun, highly recommend this trail for beginners and pros.
Running a completely stock set up. Primarily in off-road 2.
I know this is obviously not the limit the car is actually hitting, but I am pushing herepretty hard. I see lots of people scared to get dings and scratches so they drive 15 MPH, nothing wrong with that but that’s not me! Let me drive the car like it should be driven! I never get any scratches or dings anyway, only from idiots who park next to me lol.
Hope you enjoy!

Hmm, well my Jeep is the high altitude so that’s what I’ll be tagging. Mine is a 2020 3.6L and it’s holding up quite well. Running at 52k miles and she’s running perfect. The starter has a slight chirp when i start the car but that’s about it. Coolant is good, water pumps are intact, no leaks, no faulty air suspension, etc

I'm seriously considering a Grand Cherokee. BUT it THAT'S "pushing it to its limits", I might to have to reconsider. I've done a lot tougher stuff than that in my 2011 Ford Escape

Thanks for watching! It’s definitely capable than much more than I pushed it to. If you’re doing serious off-roading I recommend a wrangler type Jeep; if you really want a GC then it’s going to take some building to do so. Like a lift, bigger off-road tires, etc. By “pushing it to its limits” i mean pushing it to its limit with the current stock set up I have + my off-roading experience. I’m not a professional off-roader, I’m sure someone with more XP than me will push the car way farther. All in all, it’s completely up to you, I really don’t care what car you buy lol. Don’t let one KZread video be the judge behind your reasoning to purchase a car, I’m sure you can find plenty of other videos of GC’s doing much crazier stuff than this. I do plan on buying a Gladiator / Wrangler in the next few years to dedicate to serious off-roading; until then the Grand Cherokee is a great and capable car that can handle itself off-road and on road. To add, I prefer mudding over any other types of off-roading; I can absolutely say that the GC handles itself beautifully in a muddy situation. Definitely not a rock crawler with my current set up. I don’t think I would build it to crawl rocks anyway.

I think it’s the Quadratrac 2. Thanks for the feedback 🤙

Wheel it! That's what it was made for! Don't be afraid of mud or dings and dents and scratches --- why buy a Jeep if not to play with?

Thanks David! I totally agree, why buy a Jeep if you’re scared to take it off the tarmac? To my surprise, I’ve gotten very minimal damage from off-roading. Thanks for commenting, check out my other videos when you get the chance. :)
