I think the Macht cancelling stuff is fixed in the most recent update. From the patch notes: "Fixed a bug where certain skills that provide a combo skip effect after activation wouldn't need to be fully activated to provide the effect."

In a way I'm glad, I've never really liked feeling like I'm having to exploit the game in order to play a character well. Especially if the inputs are just uncomfortable to perform.

I like this cos u clearly haven't cheated and given yourself hundreds of curio boxes to have the best gear on (and you still do more damage than any of those youtubers doing this) Bravo as always. Thanks for keeping it really 👏🏿

as a fella german I can't agree with Träumerei and Schlacht, Träumerei is just "Dreaming" and Schlacht is "a battle in war", he also has a passive called Flammen Rüstung iirc and that means just "Flame Armor", other than that good job!

@@rail7646 "Schlacht" as a word for an action or move just doesn't fit with me. Yeah Japanese using German words wrong is a meme but I guessed that "Schlachten" was what they were thinking of when naming the ability - which would be "to butcher, evicerate" or just "kill something in a brutal way" - therefore "bloody" combat. I chose "daydreaming" for Träumerei because usually you would use "Traum" for just a Dream. Träumerei is a cute form of the word, something innocent and unimportant. Daydreaming fits that more than simply "Dreaming". Remember: There is a difference between localization and translation, and I tried to localize the words more than simply translate them. I guess under that premise I would choose "Marching Flames" for "Flammenmasch" and "Evicerate" for "Zerreißen" but if you look at Siegfried's and Lancelot's german names (which is assinine in itself as they are Arthurian names which are british and not germanic) most of them are also just randomly picked words from a german lexicon.

​@@sigmor455 Likely, yeah. "Schlachten" as a verb is to slaughter and makes sense, so they probably either just shortened it or they assumed "Schlacht" (which also exists as a word) would be the noun form of it.

loved your XB videos and am so happy that your back with a new game and excited to watch each of the characters you do a build video on. Just love the explanation of the interplay of systems and how you craft a character - hope we get more of these on other granblue things and characters

Rotor Wirbel has a MASSIVE startup time and is by far the easiest to cancel, but due to it being a high-damage skill, I can make the argument for either Macht or Rotor depending on the situation. Boss CC'd, SBA'd, broken, long mech? Cancel Macht and use Rotor. Boss moving around, mobile, etc? Cancel Rotor since you're likely to not get Rotor's full damage off. Great guide thank you so much! I was wondering what the tech was but this was where I found it first.

I started this game about a week ago and it reminded me so much of Xenoblade that I remembered all the time I spent watching your channel through my Xenoblade 2 playthrough. I'm SO happy to see that you started covering Grandblue Relink as well :) looking forward to more guides and future tier list videos, hopefully!

Can't wait for (finger's crossed) a Narmaya video since she's my favorite. That said, I have been clearing lots of content with Percy. Managed to fully awaken his ascension weapon. Havent reached Proto Bahamut yet, to be frank if I am not farming materials I just press quick play. Most importantly, Enel your guides are top tier stuff, just like with Xenoblades. It's weird how this game, made on the basis of mobile gacha, scratches my Xenoblade itch perfectly. It's the combat and graphic style probably.

@Enel btw I was practicing my macht cancels and noticed you can do the same cancel with roter wirbel as well

holy that lets call it "tech" of having quick charge back to back to back by dodge cancelling is insane, didn't know about that one - after some testing, guys try it with roter wirbel, this has an insane generous window to dodge out of it not going off cooldown, it's about close to 2 seconds since the ramp up time is so long for this skill which is highly beneficial for this "tech"

The skill Zereissen also function the same as Macht so you can use the skill to abuse the tech/glitch as well. I would take that skill over the projectile so you have two skills to close tha gab and use to cancel into the charge attack in case you mess it up at some point.

This game looks interesting, ill have to check it out sometime.

This game is on my radar to get into. I downloaded the demo but haven’t had the time yet

Also dont ignore stun power it synergizes with link together as well. But dont use a sigil slot. Maybe go with the imbue effect and overlevel bonuses to get stun power.

I do find it funny how Enel instinctivley refers to the "skills" as "arts", old habits die hard, great stuff lol

Just a quick tip, if you struggle to Schlacht cancel with Macht try using Royal Authority instead. Much easier imho since the animation is longer

im maining lancelot so far, with siegfried, percival and cagliostro. Stuck on the rank up quest for proud, bahamut versa, cant pass the dps check. So im grinding for maxing out weapons and masteries, and damage cap sigils.

You can tell a lot about a developer by how quickly they patch "bugs" that are incredibly fun to use.

It's so weird that despite being subbed I didn't actually watch this because it was in my feed, I just coincidentally unlocked Percival in Relink and looked up a guide for him and it just so happened Enel had JUST uploaded this guide so lucky me

I was just upgrading his terminus weapon, didn't know about the tech and it seems super useful, very informative!

Hey maybe its just me but i find it way easier to use Royal Authority you can insta cancel it just at the start when he lift the sword and charge Schlacht and you have a bit bigger window (before the sword hits the ground) or am i wrong?

Dang, you got good rolls on your sigils. I had to get rid of my damage for single affect denfense sigils so i dont die in one shot lol on proud.

I main him and didn't know you could abuse that. Holy shit. Edit: after testing it for a bit Royal Authority (big circular AOE) has a VERY generous cancel window. You can basically cancel at any point before the first shockwave comes out.

please do a siegfried guide! I bought the game for Percival, but Sieg's become my favorite gameplay-wise. It's kinda nuts how many videos i've seen where people just don't know how to pull off his perfect combo...

lol, it's like how Ferry is better at doing the arial combo than anything else since it's a 33% increase in dps to just spam arial over and over. I guess the devs wanted to restrict her left and right click hold's power.

I farmed overmastery for my eugen and after like 60-70 rerolls I finally got max normal cap, max crit, max sky art cap and 16 skill cap

What are you thoughts on Charged Attack V+ for one of the sigils and Lucky Charge V+ but using only 70% Crit Rate

Schlacht doesn't need to be fully charged to be able to parry. You can parry with Schlacht+ also Edit: Also, Royal Authority is a very easy cancel for Schlacht charge. You have to dodge before the sword stabs the ground.

What if you made videos about xcx again and called them xvideos

I don’t think the dodge cancel is unintentional because charlotta is able to cancel her recovery frames from moves with dodge in a similar fashion for mobility and continuing combos

I am able to cancel pretty reliably but does it actually increase dps by any noticeable amount? I was doing the score mode after figuring out the skill cancel timing and It doesnt seem significant (I definitely dont have nearly all of the stuff you have though so maybe its just a scaling thing?).

I personally use Crit rate up, NA cap up, and SD cap up. The 4th is up to your personal preference.

Damage cap is just there because Cygames has had issues in the past in the mobile game with not having a damage cap so in general that's what you build around in the mobile game and try to hit the cap and get past it with supplemental damage/bonus damage/seraphic multipliers.

Hopefully Percy won’t be powercreeped by Siegfried in this game as well

How do you get plus on the character unique sigils? Do you have to Transmarvel them?

I play Percival too. I got home and saw that your video was up. I Booted up the game and immediately got War Elemental from a Curio, then fought Bahamut 3 times and got the sword. Are you an DNG Demigod or something?

Forget Supplementary DMG +, I can't even find a normal Supp Dmg V😂

god damn. my maxed out narmaya doing 28M in 60 second dps trial (with max butterfly rng) and this character just puts it in the dirt xD
