I never realized just how much more damage the air attack does as well as how stupid fast it build SBA. I'm gonna have to work more of those into my playstyle thank you!

Using her victory emote summons all pets which allows you to self buff with max benefits at the start of a fight, and the invul will protect you from the charge. So emote at the start of pyet, self buff, move to the right and start attacking.

@@Tantan-vt4cfyes, you can try it at the dummy: do her victory pose emote, then cast her sup dmg buff with the pets out, you will get the full benefits of the buff. it may sound silly but it actually does remove the clunkiness of your opening.

Gonna rant for a bit. I am a firm Linked Together believer because I think Ferry benefits from it better relatively to other characters. Think about it, her jump attack caps quite easily by just having very few multipliers, lvl 16 combo booster + lvl 16 Stamina + a multiplier from a wrightstone is enough to cap. That means, if I count correctly, this leaves up two slots for whatever flex sigils you want. So going 3 Supp V is very possible, but at this point the question is how does Ferry brings more damage beside having max cascade and max quickcooldown for better skill uptime. This is where Linked Together comes into play. Not only you don’t grief your homies by contributing more link points, you also increase the damage of SBA and chain burst. With the frequency Ferry proccing her SBA, this is huge, even better with 2-2 sba strategy. So yeah, you might really want that Linked Together on your build because it really helps bringing more dps.

To be fair that's not surprising, Linked Together is pretty busted, that's 4 different effects in 1 trait. Link attacks/Link time are a huge benefit whether you're a beginner or lategame player speedrunning bosses, although not as useful SBA and CB damage is a pretty nice addition considering their innate damage cap is high already. I feel like even if they remove the SBA or CB dmg and only put Link attack effects then it would still be really good.

+1 to the linked together. Ferry is one of the few characters that actually can justify running linked together since SBA is part of her kit and unlike other characters, she doesnt really have this one "hard to cap" ability (such as setsuna or lunge). Linked together ends up being a nice boost to damage. The actual link% for linked together is somewhat disappointing though: this has more to do with how easy it is to trigger a full burst (which fills linked time).

met a ferry in proto the other day and we did 2-2 chain bursts and she did one more again after the 2-2. that’s how insanely fast she charges sba. i was also on ferry and utterly confused on what i was doing wrong, with max uplift as well. now i know 😅

Her onslaught definitely needs to be buffed, at least exceed the damage potential of junp spam, but to have another option like this is also good

can you make an update video on how to play her now? (or update this video?) Ferry and Rackam seem to be the characters that are most affected by the bug fix changes. the other affected characters (perci, zeta, id) only lost their exploits which dosen‘t really change how they are optimally played and build

imo if they were to balance this it’ll probably just be on how much sba she gains from it damage wise its fine considering that shes a support character since every other support characters have “low” damage with the exception of io and eugen in sniper mode/grenade spam

Ferry has always been my stunner/support AI just because her whole kit just looks like she was supposed to be played that way. I guess I should rebuild her soon

rip aerial ferry, apparently at 1.1.1 (Lucilius patch), she had this change ・Lowered the SBA gauge fill rate given by launch attacks and aerial barrages. i didn't even get a chance to try her like this 😭

Zeke with Corvin. Maybe not in terms of character design, but the art where Zeke spins upwards loos like the attack Enel spams at the start, and Corvin is known for spamming arts

Didnt even think about using SBA to stun lock enemies as well. Great guide as always bro🙏🏾

didn't play well but fastest clear so far :') just noticed I didn't even have over mastery enabled for her.. and no mirage munitions enabled. easiest clear so far for sure

it stacks additively with combo booster so ideally you'd only run one.

I've just finished the story mode. When am I able to get these Terminus weapons? All the guides I've seen so far suggests to use Terminus weapons only and I am not sure what other weapon to use before I actually get one.

You won't be able to farm for terminus weapons until you beat all the key maniac and proud difficulty quests so it's gonna take a while. Ascension weapons or crit rate weapons are totally viable alternatives before you get a terminus weapon

The only reason I know how to mash is because I randomly read the loading screen with it on there lol. Does the game tell you somewhere else? I skimmed the tutorial stuff.

Ferry is such a tight execution character cause if you mess up your timing you onslaught by mistake (inputed launch attack too soon so it didn't come out) and there goes all your pets and damage .___. I've been practicing her for the past 2 days so was excited to see this come out

A good ferry player knows when to onslaught. You have to think with ferry, Onslaught before linked attack -> link attack etc. Also when skills are down, when to use hold basic attack to gain a pet / gap closing with aerial basic attack combo.

I love strategies that are so good they make the game stupid

Honestly the 'meta' playstyle for Ferry does not appeal to me in the slightest. I thought she was kind of interesting playing her how she was intended to be played, but ever since this meta became a thing I completely lost interest in playing her. It sucks, and I really hope she is rebalanced in a patch.

Alot of character has the same issue aswell, like rolling vaseraga, aerial ghanda/rackam, bugged perci, etc2. Im fine if those playstyle is optional on certain scenario like small attack window or smth, but it ended up becoming the most optimal way to clear mission fast with these character. Most character rotation boils down to spamming the same move over&over.

​@@bishamon1075air rackam and wall roll grenade eugen are only optimal on bahamut because hes downed for so long (and big), and with rackam its a special case where theres a literal bug in multiplayer that prevents him from level 5 charging (it caps at 3). I think in solo normal playstyle rackam is on par as air blast rackam if not better with the benefits of having way more range and safety.

as long as they buff her moveset accordingly, honestly SBA abuse is overpowered as shit but Ferry herself does absolute fuck all in terms of damage, even when you abuse the launch loop

Kinda meh build. No 2nd unique sigil and Cascade means you're not utilizing cooldown reduction for her Supp self buff. Uplift 32 is enough as botting SBA too fast can be detrimental when everyone's brain is full of dps running an exploiting Percival that generates SBA too slow. No Drain nor Potion hoarder on main build means you're tryharding everytime which gets exhausting over time.
