I remember getting this game back in may of 98 when it came out here in the US. I was blown away back then. If it wasn’t for Gran turismo racing games wouldn’t be how they are today

Seeing all those Skylines together at 1:54 looked so heartwarming, like a family reunion. 🥺 The Skylines are all here to see grandfather Skyline Hakosuka! 😌 I hope all of the Lancer Evolutions are here too. 🤞

Missing the Evo I, II, III VII, VIII and IX. The IV, V, VI and Final (X) are in the game.

I waited 9 years for Gran Turismo to finally return to what it was; I screamed, cried, clapped, cheered, say it all. Gran Turismo is apart of my life and my journey to what I do now. With it returning to what I knew it was (According to what was revealed) I'm excited!

I just noticed a small detail at 0:30 when the trailer opens. In the reflection of the door, the new Supra's taillights are reflected as the old Supra in the trailer becomes visible. A nice touch!!

@I ²⁰⁰⁸ I I never got on the last gen anyway, but I'm glad Polyphony took their time, and got some knowledge and experience from GT Sport in the process - it was never a secret that GT Sport wasn't going to be a full fledged Gran Turismo anyway, another reason why I skipped last gen Only downside I can think of tbh, is the Gran Turismo fans who waited, but somehow never got to see this announcement. May they rest in peace, knowing that Polyphony still respects and honors the roots of Gran Turismo, and the memories of their fans

I just love how the beginning is essentially a love letter to the previous GT games. I began playing from GT3 (2001) and remember the Tom's Supra sliding around Trial Mountain, and Moon over the Castle playing as they showed the Ford GT in GT4! I absolutely love how it incorporates a piece from almost very Gran Turismo together! Edit: I really hope they bring back some iconic tracks like Seattle Circut, Cote d'Azur, Special Route Stage 5,11, Grand Valley, Deep Forest, and of course the 24hr endurance races!

The supra in the trailer was a call back to GT1 intro when the gtr Nismo road going version was in the trailer. And the birds and the lights was also a GT1 callback so awesome

@@TheMovingChicane Thank you for the support! I would have no reason to continue them without the fans. I'm glad it gives new generations a similar experience or influence that Gran Turismo did to us.

This looks promising. For all of GT's pluses over the yrs, the weakest link was always the sense of speed, or lack thereof. This demo and a few others I have seen seemed to correct that, the sensation looks smooth as butter. I loved GT2 back in the day and this might bring me back.

I am ecstatic. My father played Gran Turismo when he was a boy, and I hear he was great. He did beat the game, and I love racing so this is very exiting.

After replaying Gran Turismo 5, I'm really excited for this

We need individual opponent car selection this time. The ability to select the ai grid lineup from your garage cars so we can use custom cars with liveries to make themed races like BTCC or DTM etc. Instead of having to race so many unimmersive opponents.

This is a secret option in GT4. Looking at this trailer, I see a lot of GT4 features that were overlooked in later games. I just think they could have saved some zeros in car and parts values.

The man behind all Gran Turismos is a racing and car enthusiast and his dream was to showcase a game that is a ode to the automotive world, hence that GT tends to be a fantastic game (I played them all since PS1 days). Not bad, can't wait for it. I always loved the amount of different cars in Gran Turismo and how they tried to keep the cars as real as possible, most of the cars in the game are like they are in reality too, love it.

I nearly got a heart attack when I saw the Polyphony Digital logo.😅😅

@@IndianSuperman-gy4ps Facts man, It's 100% probably going to happen. Plus with bits and pieces from the intros of the other GT games, I can see polyphony digital adding a whole lot of stuff to this new GT. I'm so hyped honestly. Maybe we can see a return of Special Stage Route 11, who knows?

@MINOLTA Toyota Dude 36 The CLK GTR was shown in this trailer, I think this game is probably going to have a bigger car list than GT4. Since well, you know, PS4/PS5.

I think my heart stopped when i saw that CLK LM come over the hill. Also its so nice seeing the Castrol Supra again 😭

Moon over the castle... the classic theme of Gran Turismo... since Gran Turismo 1...

Watched on my phone at 2160p looked absolutely breathtaking!

I'm just glad we can customise our cars again. Love how they brought the old school theme and jdm/ JGTC cars back. This is great. This is what grand Turismo originated from.

Some new things to pick out from the trailer: - Window decals - Numeric values on decal scale and rotation, as well as opacity - The above options have a Direct Input function - Antique car dealer - "Fully Customisable Computer" in the tuning shop, could possibly mean ECU tuning - New aero parts unique for each car - Rim width and offset settings - Track wetness indicator, could suggest dynamic weather (Thank you, @Finlay Melliar-Smith!) This is going to be the game of a generation!

And the thing is, most of the content shown here are already in GTS, but I can see how they specifically showed a few things that everyone has been asking for and has been the staple in the series like the Alfa Romeo 155 Touring Car, the Pennzoil Nismo, the Castrol Tom's Supra, Trial Mountain, High Speed Ring, proper tuning, rain on tracks, and even the proper thumb placement of the driver when holding the wheel! I'm so glad they didn't dump everything in here, but in the GT site, they have a few screenshots in there including the Used Car Dealership.

@@Pluvillion GT Sport has always been a fantastic spin-off for the series. It would, honestly, be a shame if they dumped all the content of that game and start anew. They didn't and I'm thoroughly happy that not only the content is returning, but is being expanded upon (see the R33 customization).

@@Gamebit257 - that's why we consider GT Sport as GT7 Prolouge. It was PD's testing ground for next-gen (hence that 120fps thingy they did before). Also, remember, the models in GTS are downgraded models supposedly for GT7 (and future releases), so that means it's set in stone that all the cars in GTS will be in GT7; no compromises. I'm glad they returned to their roots as well. The tuning (or lack thereof) in GTS as well as the car categories (that was an inconsistent mess) was what I disliked - I'm glad they took it out. Performance Points are what made GT fun (and balanced if you will) because you can be driving a literal Fiat 500 with a PP 800. I hope we can sync our progress in GT7; at least with just the decals/liveries we've saved because no way am I going through the hassle collecting those 537 decals I've been collecting since 2019 LOL.

Just came back to this from watching the GTA 5 Expanded & Enchanced trailer. I needed to remind myself that there is still hope left in the video game industry.

Love the way they salute gt4, my childhood.

As someone who remembers playing GT3 and years of GT4, I am actually crying. The complete 180 Kaz has turned to cater to the fans is the best decision they've made for the better part of 2 decades. It just needs VR and time/weather changes and it's absolute perfection.

Dude, I still have my copy of GT1 which I used to play for hours after school back in the day. This looks amazing.

This is touched my heart,it brings me back to GT4, thank you Polyphony.

@@adityaj7664 the majority of the intro to this trailer is effectively a remaster of the intros of the old games, if you watch the old gt1 intro you will see the same shots in better quality in this trailer. It is the same for the rest of the old games. And im not sure if that shot means a free roam section will be a thing
