Thanks Kie, this should help me a lot. I'm kind of amazed they put my two least favorite real world tracks back to back for TT. I'm sure I'll take some heat for it, I know a lot of people love Fuji, but I just never can get comfortable driving this track. I feel like it was designed by a 5 year old with a bunch of slot car track pieces, bunch of turns, bunch of turns, more turns, Oh wait, I need a long straight.

What works for me is start looking for the curb on my approach and start the turn

If I can maintain a Silver on this one I'll be happy..

@@nighttrain1565 nope VR is no faster 👍 in general in race situations VR is actually slower hence why not 1 top driver uses it when trying to Qualify 👍

@@thekie25 I have worked for several NASCAR teams and IndyCar teams and am regularly around professional drivers and there's not a single one that uses a screen. Dalara no longer uses a screen. Everyone that I work with and everyone that I know is building simrigs because of what they have experienced in VR. Nobody cares about flat screens and anyone competitive or serious about getting into professional racing isn't going to be driving on a flat screen. The future is VR and the learning curve is steep and you can deny it all you want but it's faster no matter what. There's nothing you can do to catch me. Any car on any track, my time will be faster.

@@thekie25 Haha, that guy. That's why world champion Max Verstappen drives iracing with a screen. Believe me, any answer is wasted with people like that. I also don't know any difference when I drive with or without VR. And in the GT7 World Championship everyone drives with a screen. he has no idea. thanks for your great videos

@@edcadlick2650 Dirty air isn't a problem when you're the only car on track. I've tried using ghosts of faster drivers and usually they just frustrate me even more. Can't make the car follow their line.

​@@thekie25 Races have lots of variables, strategy, other racers etc. When it comes to pure one lap pace he's much faster, he even got into the 1.19s in this TT.

Motorsport isn’t about one fast lap out of 10,20 or 40laps, it’s about being consistently fast over all your laps, and being fast around other drivers, no races means no motorsport, nobody wants to watch a car on its own lapping a track trying to get a fast time.

Pretty hilarious you make a video saying you will be half a second faster if only you cared to try again but you probably won't find the time.. probably not find the time to learn that VR headset either. Lol.. I just found myself laughing out loud throughout the video. If you can do it do it. You have the time. What else are you going to do? Get in a GR3 or GR4 and race daily B and C for 8 hours? Lol

Why do I need to go faster explain? I have gold it will always be gold why would I want to try hard a TT that means nothing when I could use that time for GTWS testing or getting ACC sorted like I did tonight, nobody enjoys watching TT on streams people prefer watching racing, if I ever do TT the numbers drop because it’s massively boring to watch, hence why I won’t go back on TT as there is no benefit to going 300th to 500 th faster mate, this TT events mean jack 💩 as long as you earn the credits which I have every single time. For guide there is no benefit, as the guide just needs the basics for braking apex and lines pushing 500th would be waste my time which could be used better as YT is my job 👍

Everyone in the top split across all platforms are using VR. Only KZread Gran Turismo players are playing on flat screens. You're in the Stone age and only fast because you can manipulate the faulty sim models in Gran Turismo

They really don’t 😂 loads the best ACC drivers do not use VR at all, but anyway mate it’s fine it’s your view I’m not sure why you are so obsessed about VR but hope you enjoy it, I love VR it’s amazing but it’s not the best for competitive racing in my opinion have a good day 👍

​@@thekie25nah, everyone I know races in VR. Everyone I work with races in VR and everyone looking to get into sim racing is doing so because of VR. Flat screens are for people who need proximity radars because they can't develop their sense of awareness on the track and refuse to take on the challenge of the learning curve that is VR

@@nighttrain1565 nils is one ACC best drivers doesn’t use VR, Jardier doesn’t use VR, majority the fastest ACC do not use VR for competitive racing, some may obviously it’s individual preference, I’m in the stone ages 😂😂😂 I own VR on all platforms, anyway you do what you enjoy mate that’s what matter, same for me 👍

@@thekie25 point is VR is simulation. Flat screens are arcade. I grew up racing on a flat screen set up for 20 years and now I can't even understand how I ever did it. Once you go VR you never go back. There are VR drivers and then there are flat screen drivers. Nobody does both. The point is you have to make the commitment. If realism and immersion and simulation and skill is your goal then VR is the way. If being competitive and manipulating game hacks to be fast is your market with flat screens so be it. To each our own.
