as a new driver in this game, im envied but proud on those who can get gold in every driving missions without problems

Envying those who got gold is normal, but to say that they have done so without problems is a misconception - they just have less problems not no problem. It's easy to overlook the fact that they spent a lot of time in and outside of the game practising. SuperGT for example, races in real life too (although he isn't a professional driver). In my experience as an average racer who play with some driving assists, 95% of the licenses are certainly achievable at gold if you learn from the demonstration and use those as ghosts to follow. The remaining ones are when you need to think a bit more about the car setting by adjusting / switching off the driving assists to "tune" the car.

That last lap in the McLaren MP4/4 was hilariously bad .. can’t believe you got gold with missing so many apex and doing it so leisurely. I was fighting my ass off🤣

This! His driving is really shit but somehow he manages to get gold easily? Its weird ngl. I got all gold too but by driving every line and corner perfectly

The Suzuka Circuit in the final license is absolutely terrible. The gold time is literally impossible and the handling of the MP4/4 is so bad.

Legit took me over 900 miles to complete. The ghost always got me on the last section, was an absolute demoralizer. Key is to be in third when exiting most corners. I kept TCS on 1 too, though I could see how 0 would work better for others. MP4 is too squirrelly for me.

I personally did it on TC1 too except on the flystart I kept TC0 to get a better starting speed. It was very hard but in the end I noticed two spots for me personally where I could be faster than the ghost, which got me more room for spots I took worse than the ghost. Took me 1 Hour to complete in the end (Controller player)

That final exam in Suzuka is just the Vettel X2010 challenge but worse. The gold window is so awful. Must be the devs' idea as a final 'F you' to everyone smooth sailing with all the previous golds.

I'm mid-way through and was stuck at the Master IB3 where I spent over half hour for the gold...... I always feel unhappy when they don't actually teach you how to drift before put you in these drift / snow / dirt races or missions

S2 license is impossible. I used a controller and an automatic. At one point, the car won't shift, causing me time.

I suggest to learn to drive manual. Also turn off TC (or at most on 1). It reduces acceleration a lot.

@nickofzo I did that, and guess what? Gold. 😆 I still had tc on, but the manual transmission worked. I still like my automatic but boy. What a difference. I now have all Gold licenses.

Did you for real just do these all first try?

Do you use manual or automatic transmission and how did you set your ghost

He is using steering wheel and pedals not a regular controller.

I got gold on everything but S10 is impossible for me , the car just steers too much.

It is not that hard. Turn off TC and be carefull on the throttle. You can shift early to reduce wheelspin. Accelerate when the car is straight. And let it roll trough the corners. Make mental notes when to use which gear and when to brake. Patience is key. I find the ghost always a bit annoying so I changed it to be 0.3 seconds in front of me. (You can change that in the pause menu).

I need tips for the very final mp4 McLaren one. Anything at all. Im stuck with like 0.4 to go Edit: I watched this and I shit you not I got gold in like 5 tries. I should have watched this hundreds of attempts ago. All in your shift work.

What's crazy is I figured out the shifts, but kept messing up at the end. I stopped, then returned forgetting the shift layout so I was slower. Very confused and frustrated until I read this comment and watched the video lol

@@DV-ou1yu I believe it. I had doubts that I was gonna be able to get gold with even TC1. I was just so mad by that point after golding everything except very last one without having to watch a video. Also for the first time in this game I found out you can't play career mode without an internet connection. I had a gold run I swear and then I get booted out. Thought my vr headset broke or something but no. Wifi killed me. So I wasn't screwing around with that oversteer, I had enough.

Worst feeling. Although I bought it months ago. Might just sell this one.

Master licence seems to be more easy than ordinary. Everything gold.

All gold at first try except the last at Suzuka. I have the same race line and the same speed on the corner but nothing, 1.5 upper then ti gold time..... The car in unplayable, I don't know if it was a bug or not. 😢

There is no need to get all Gold in these stupud Master tests, I ended up just getting all Bronze and then I am done with them. I know I can do a lot better, but really they are a waste of time.
