With Škoda in GT7 for the 1st time, let's hope for more cars coming. Like the Fabia or the Octavia. The WRC versions actually. I'm a sucker for rally cars.

Seems like it works like GT90 EV Version.

Things that make this car a true beauty: 1. The design. 2. The HUD 3. Four motors to each wheel 4. Homage of 1100 OHC 5. Makes power to 800 kw (1,072 BHP)

The SKODA VGT car in GT7 looked incredibly cool! 🤩

Handles better than the Genesis VGT from last update. Unfortunate that EV's can't be used in some way for endurance events.

The last time I know of a Skoda in a racing game that was not a rally title was in World Racing 2. Not even a major title has featured them, so this is a big deal for Skoda and GT.

Any game with an Audi A4, VW Passat, VW Polo etc is pretty much the same thing. Skoda is just the cheaper version of those cars.

⁠@@rikkiseddo Maybe Gr.1 due to how it looks like. Also a Gr.1 Skoda VGT is actually great not only because it will have an engine (maybe gas or hybrid) but it will be useful for grinding at Spa or Sardenga. So cross my heart and hope for the Skoda VGT Gr.1 (along with the Genesis X Gr.1, Ferrari VGT Gr.1 and Lambo V12 VGT Gr.1) to be in GT7

@@pmayo7894 they all did. Though I’d argue that Alfa could have done with the PR from a VGT to push the Giulia Quadrifoglio. Ford just seemed to piss off and do that awful crowdsourced Fordzilla concept for its eSports team. Obviously thought they could take the idea and go it alone (and fail.) Whilst Tesla had the shit storm of getting the Model 3 into production and designing all of Elon’s promised cars.

Nothing about this car says Skoda. You could replace the Skoda badge with another manufacturers and it wouldn't make a bit of difference. The electric aspect ruins it as well. If it had a ICE I could see it being used as a modern looking Can-Am racer as I do think it looks pretty good all things being said.

Shame it's not a real car that made it a Skoda debute. Let's hope for more Skoda cars that are actually useful, like the 1957 Skoda 1100 or at least some modern car like the new Superb.

Skoda is the most random car brand they could have added. We have pescarolo prototypes, ligier lpms, orecas, and other racing brands that would make some sense to have in gt.

Don’t like the RC car electric sounds. Blah, afuela!!! Plus if they are to race with them they need an engine to charge or run the vehicle when juice in the battery runs out, adding more weight and cost through complexity. Electric’s stupid for racing!!!!! It’s mostly stupid for regular driving too unless you got your own home to charge it daily and it’s just a commuter!
