@@rabbidcrazy787 I suppose it was to give the game and community a reasonable amount of time to transition into the new Gen console and game. After GTS had come out, the online lobby community on GT6 was still far more vibrant than GTS’ so Polyphony shut down the servers, to try and push these players onto the next game. This didn’t really help anyone and has undoubtedly severed the community, it’s really sad to look back on my friends list and see so many players who have been inactive for so long

@@hughthompson4846 Well that sucks because GT Sport is lacking in content compared to GT6. I know GT7 is coming soon but only 420 cars at launch? That's a huge downgrade from GT6 still. Forza Motorsport 7 has more cars than that. And why aren't any manufacturers in this game that aren't in GT Sport confirmed to return? Well besides Cadillac.

even though alot of the cars are from japan, Im a huge fan of Japanese cars so GT6 will be AWESOME! I have Forza 5 and it is good but for me I will always be a Gran Turismo fan!

Maybe you should look at the game before making such unaware statements?All cars you mentioned are available since GT5, but not by default, so cry another river please. You maybe could start counting too, so you will find out that this list doesn't contain 1200 cars. Also Polyphony is a japanese development studio, so maybe its simply natural, there are nearly all japanese cars in the game, isn't it?

Daniel Naumann Unaware statements? I have seen the full car list of both GT5 and GT6, and none of the cars I listed appear in either of them. Prove the opposite or shut the hell up. Does the fact that the games are japanese mean that you have to include 73 versions of the same car, if it's japanese? No. I understand why they did so, but no.

Looking good! It's nice to see that we have Chromeline and Stealth cars in there (without the need of purchasing a DLC) as well as some of the cars we found in GT4, which went missing in GT5. I have never regretted per-ordering this game!

It's high time they stop with this premium/standard nonsense and make all of them 'premium'.

I am so far liking GT6 a lot better than Gran Turismo 5 already! The menus and menu music is so much better

Seems like there are a lot more dealership / premium cars this time around. So happy to see they have a lot more jags and ontop of that they have not only the XJ220, but the LM racer one as well.

I wonder what they will do with Gran Turismo 7? Because they won't be able to redo all of these vehicles for the PS4 very easily or quickly, so you know a lot of vehicles would disappear, but if they just port them over and increase the polygon count, that isn't really next gen. I am satisfied with Turn10's decision in redoing all of the cars for Forza 5. They put a ton of detail into them and it makes it worth the smaller amount of cars. Same goes for the tracks.

Well at least you can go to the dealership and get the cars you want instead of refreshing that used car lot over and over.

For instance with the Ruf models, every model is 3d. 3d lights and windows, trim peices exhaust, no jaggies anywhere at all, they are basically premiums without interiors(for now) and the yellowbird looks so beautiful up close!

Thanks for the car show. So I can decide where I can start grinding!

Also, some new RUF's and the Maserati MC12 would have been awesome.

Actually, standards have been upgraded significantly, especially the 97 Z28 camaro for example, it has a new 3d mesh body, 3d head and tail lights, windows, 3d high poly trim, wheels and brakes, and high detailed badges. that's just one of them.

Looking back at the sheer number of cars that were in GT6, I’m really starting to miss it when comparing it to GT Sport. For me, I didn’t mind the fact that most of the cars had ‘standard’ interiors. I prefer to have a much wider choice of cars to drive rather than a super realistic interior. Sure, they’re nice to have, but if I could choose more cars or all ‘premium’ interiors - I’d choose more cars all day long. I hope they go back to having hundreds of cars in the next game.

Yes, I agree. I don't care if they don't have detailed interiors, I only care if I can actually drive them. I also choose more cars overall than more detailed ones. The car sounds aren't great, but you have to understand that the 7th Gen PS3 Sound Chip couldn't handle realistic car sounds for over 1200 cars. Great game overall.

Exactly this, I think that 400 cars on GT7 is still a disappointment, considering that it’s been nearly 9 years since they’ve released a new, proper instalment to the series

Couple problems here. first, why is the Supra RZ, Saleen S7 STILL NOT PREMIUM!?!?!?! where are all the other homogolated GT1 cars from 1998!?!? where are the NEW RUF 997/991 based Porsches??? RUF CTR3/R50 are missing. The Aston Martin DBR9, S7R, Lancia GT1 cars is missing, The Pagani Zonda F, Bentley Continental GT/ Flying Spurr Mercedes CLS AMG/SLR Stirling Moss, Maserati MC12/MC12 Corsa, Spyker Zagato, Cerbera Speed 12 race car, Elise/Espirit GT1, Ford Raptor,Mustang Boss 69'/Fastback, GTX1, Dodge Ram SRT10, GMC Cyclone. WarpPal the Zonda F is the 2000 Zonda versions.. Callaway is in.. in 14:24. Seat is in.. in 6:09. That's all I can give.

The chevy's are amazing, the dodge's are okay, and the srt's are just down right flawless.! Except for those, all the cars look the exact same as before.

At 8:19, I started looking at Honda. And I noted at least 10 Civics, 5 Preludes, 5 Integras, 15 S2000s, and 12 NSXs before we even got into honest-to-God race cars at 8:56. I noticed that several manufacturers in this game are guilty of this, but Honda seems to be about the worst(to me). So, would anyone really bitch if we had, say, 3 Civics, 2 Preludes, 2 Integras, 4 S2000s, and 3 NSXs, and then the famous race models? And then rather than having 1200 cars that are 60% repeated filler, we could maybe tone it down to 500, and limit the extraneous crap? Anyone else feel the same way?

I would have liked to see an Oldsmobile Toronado other than the Jay Leno version, simply because it's a great FF muscle car example, and Jay Leno generally pisses me off. But I could certainly do without the endless variations of the same 10 Japanese models.

Exactly. Olds has enough different cars that you could make them a 6- or 8-car dealership. And then at least you're putting in some more variety, instead of additional Civics, NSXs, Skylines, etc. I'd like to see some additional dealerships/tuning outfits(Hennessey, for one) included in a DLC, and some kind of advanced search feature for cars(to sort by manufacture origin, drivetrain layout, year, PP, etc.), so that you don't necessarily have to wade through all the chaff when you're trying to find a new set of wheels.

Kazunori Yamauchi wanted to bring Porsche into the series for alot of years now, they and Sony sponsored Porsche ALOT in motorsports, in '99 Sony sponsored a Porsche 911 GT1, look at the N24 how much Porsches did you see carrying the GT banner? It's bound that GT6 will have an expensive Porsche DLC like Forza did...

anyone who says the amount of cars is too much, or the choice of cars is not good enough is someone who should be playing need for speed, or forza motorsports. the amount of cars in this game are vast. the amount of history each individual car has contributed to the automotive racing industry is beyond anything any "car guy" can respect, nor understand. if you have a true passion for cars, you play gt6. if your a child who thinks buying a car game crashing into people and getting the super fastest cars ever is a good time for you, then please. stay the fuck off of gran turismo. this is the only enthusiast game on any console. and i've played them all. forza physics are laughable. and if anyone clals that realistic, then they need to get a drivers license and expereince this shit for themselves.

Eh, well Gran Turismo is good, but Assetto Corsa and Project Cars are way, WAY better. But your entitled to your opinion so, you do you. But don't yoy dare say forza is a childs game because once those assists are off, trying to drive in a RWD Honda S2000 with max out specs, you won't be laughing at those physics anymore.

Also, if Arman Chivichyan is going to be saying that GT6 is good, then try GT5, which is better than 6, and 3, which is better than 5, and 4, which is better than 3. If you are a die hard car person, play all gran turismo. But if you want a Real Driving Simulator, go to Assetto Corsa ot Project Cars Plz, for the love of cars

They finally put in my favorite car the 1970 AAR Cuda, but they've still left out so many badass muscle cars like the 69 Roadrunner, 70 Duster, the Buick GSX and the Dodge Demon.

100 different versions of Miata's, civic's and several European cars I would never know about if it weren't for Gran Turismo but.. where are the foxbody Mustangs? Where are the older bodystyle of mustangs (other than the 71 mach1 which I do like!)... a 68' bullitt would be sweet! How about a 99-04 saleen!? Sure I'm talking mustangs but as a Mustang fan.... why do we get 2 s197 "GT's" of the same bodystyle yet not get anything else!? I definitely hope they add some major dlc content! I know I'm speaking as a mustang fan but I know there are other car enthusiasts wondering why a few other cars aren't in the game already from the get go.

@@SK_727 Why want a Foxbody if you have all these fancy muscle riders in-game. - 2005 Mustang GT - 2007 Mustang GT Premium - 1971 Mustang Mach 1 - 2013 Mustang Boss 302 - 2013 Shelby GT500 - 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 - 2002 Saleen S7 - 2000 SVT Cobra R - 1965 Shelby GT350 (Technically older shape Mustang) - 1965 Shelby GT350R and other oddball ones like Oldsmobile Tornado, Pontiac Tempest GTO, Plymouth Superbird, Dodge Charger Super Bee etc.

I love that Jay Leno's Garage is a manufacturer.

I love Gran Turismo but something that always annoyed me was the complete lack of some of the most famous cars in favour of more versions of the same line of cars for example they gave maserati only 1 car leaving out cars like the MC12 and the ghibli but say you wanted a Nissan skyline instead? well that's no problem because we got 9000000 freaking versions of it

To all the ungrateful GT motherfuckers who are complaining about the car list: You do know there are 78 cars that are on the car list that are not in the dealerships that are more than likely prize cars, right? Also, there were some cars added to the official car list yesterday that aren't in this update version (Remember, the game will receive a HUGE update when the game goes live on Friday), including the Honda/Acura NSX Concept (counted as separate cars), the new M-B AMG Vision Gran Turismo, and, last but certainly not least, THE DELTAWING IS BACK, BITCHES!!!!!! And in not one, but TWO different liveries!!!! check www.gran-turismo.com if you don't believe me. ;-)

I've always wondered how Gran Turismo had so many cars... I guess it's from copy-pasting some cars with slight model changes.

I feel like they missed a lot of new cars. And that was the one thing I was looking forward to.

may a peace rest, it was an undervalued title I did not like at all but I grabbed a certain affection and when they closed their servers do not avoid feeling some sadness and that there was still many people playing it, may he rest in peace 2013 -2018 ...

Are the stealth and DLC cars that were shown available for everyone or only those who had bought them in GT5?

I know GT6 isnt a revolutionary game, basically its a huge DLC with alot of cars from GT4 still there. But still cant wait to play it! Its not all about graphics and latest high tech cars on the market. GT have cars which not other game have.

Nevermind, I found it....its Yusuke Yamoto (channel U) - Lunar Mare in case anyone else was interested and are still looking.

I miss this game so much! I wish the ps4 had backwards compatability

This game still a has bigger car list than any racing game for a PS3 game.
