I heard that song at two funerals in Jamaica and didn't really grasp it until last month i heard it again and played it repeatedly for two hours. When i watched this man find the strength to sing this song as his own father funeral it made me cry tears because the song is so powerful and made me miss all the love ones i have lost over the years. Much love and respect Gramps and great interview Yendi.

This conversation was everything. There was palpable energy radiating from both of you that was contagious. It was filled with pure joy and excitement and vulnerability and openness. It felt like both of you wanted to be there, and this conversation could’ve gone for hours. Thank you for being open and sharing. One love.

I really enjoyed the interview with Gramps Morgan, I love the group Morgan Heritage, love His Father Densmore Morgan, last but not least Gramps Morgan himself, I'm not Jamaican, my fiance was and I just fell in love with the culture. Jamaicans are truly a peculiar people. But once they love you there's nothing they won't do for you. My heart beats for Jamaica. One love and bless up yourself.

This interview touched me. Listen to Gramps how mature, the wisdom and how wise he has become. I wish a lot of those men would take a page out of his book, we would have a better society. Continue to what you do Yendi.

Always loved gramps. I remember when I first started listening to Morgan Heritage my brother-in-law said Gramps should have been singing more. His humility was tangible. My condolences to the family. I am so sorry that I never met you guys. I am an elderly person living in the USA. I was told that my grandfather was related to you guys. Then again. The property that was bought at Nickel Hill was owned by my God parents the Blair's. My God mother Agatha Blair was, and is buried under a June plum tree not far from the house in those days. My grandma use to work for the Blair's. My grandma and myself during the 50s use to walk from Grosset Airy Castle up the Hill to Nickel Hill in the mornings, and sometime daily. My God father my God mother husband was murdered. Those were the people who fed me as a child, and taught me decency as a child. I would love just to meet Gramps. Just to meet and embrace him, also to walk the grounds of Nickel Hill where I once enjoyed as a child. God's blessings to you always. ❤❤❤
