@@justleavemealone First, you have to excuse my simple language as English is not my native tongue. Please consider that exaggeration is not one of the strongest features of the English language. If I wanted to exaggerate i would've used much stronger language. Now : The fact that Denis the musician have a sense of humour, and his ability to show it by taking what the Great BILL BURR have said. And then mind judo the hell out of it back to Bill burr "THE GREAT" while still showing off his "editing skills" is alone admirable. The fact that Bill burr the comedian can talk about another musician, in his own special perspective which made us (his fans) like him as a comedian in the first place. And then Nirvana. In the end: To me, this triple threat and the ability to mix it up like this. Is the highest level of entertainment for me. I am so entertained in so many levels. I can't wait to see what happens if someday they do collaborate. Till this day I smile and start singing/ air guitar the hell out of it every time the song comes on. So again. I would like to extend my thanks this time to BILL BURR THE GREAT, Denis, the whole Gramatik team and all who helped to produce this great great music.

Computer can be an instrument too. The argument (music created by computer isn't music) is like a never ending cycle of "when *i* was young, things were so much better". 🙄 Every generation ever goes through this. When radio became a thing, (older) people didn't believe it would ever become a thing, they thought it would be a fad, that's going to pass by. When television became a thing, (older) people thought it would be bad for your eyes and you wouldn't ever learn anything by watching tv. When computers became a thing, (older) people said it would replace people in the workplace. I could go on and on. It's amazing how people can just close their mind on new things and disregard it completely because... Of what? "Things were so much better when i was young!"

@@humblymichael5823 coming from someone who can play multiple instruments, I think the talent lies in the mood and emotion you put out with your medium. Producers aren't "editors" if they're making the actual sounds they're using. It's one thing to take a sample and use that or in a guitarist to play Wonderwall, it's another to compose an actual song of your own regardless of the instrument. I get Bill's point and I'm not trashing one of my favorite comics, but I think that it's a cop out to say that making music with electronics doesn't require talent.

@@humblymichael5823 I just don't see why the instrument should matter if you're making music especially if it sounds good and even more if it's something that the artists wanted to make. Most of my music is made on a computer because I'm a father and I work a lot so I don't have time to play a loud instrument. When I get that time, I do. But I still use the same musical knowledge from playing different instruments throughout my life when I'm making something on my laptop and I'm learning more about actually having to do the entire process of composing and mixing and mastering an entire collection of things playing on a song. I'm not a professional but I think I make pretty decent music on a laptop requiring the same musical knowledge. Anything I make with analog instruments is super lofi based on my recording capabilities at the moment, same with vocals but that's also my style, but being able to make music digitally has been an awesome experience so far and has made me respect all forms of it in its own way. If it makes that artist feel good, if people like it (regardless of if you do) and if it's being put together by someone in their own way why should it not be considered music?

imagine if someone like hendrix couldve had access to a laptop when he was between gigs or any of those legends for that matter.... computers allow kids without the coordination to be super talented on drums or guitar to be really creative almost without limits. And theres real talent there too, heres the proof. Keep it up this shit is gold man.
