Great to see you back. You were the first homebrew channel that I subscribed to. One thing, it was difficult to hear you on occasion. Hope it is ok saying that. Looking forward to more brew days 😀

Nice to see you back Glenn. Your videos were how I started AG brewing and I still have my BM20. Your audio was very low on this video sadly.

So, how is the BM vs B80, just press the button and done? :) I think it's still makes sense to use the BM for easy brews regardless of some comments. I have the newer version with the cooling jacket incorporated within the BM and also a wort pumping device, so I can use less external tools.

Hello Glen from Tasmania Australia where it is 'minus 14C' '-14C' mid winter down here and it is a cold one, if you want crystal clear beer try Biofine in your kegs, I pulled out the dip tubes and replaced them with floating dip tubes so it draws beer from the top of the keg, 30ml of biofine mixed in the top of the beer in the keg and your beer will be crystal clear in 24 hours, biofine is much better than Gelatin too

Thank you Glenn for another great video. Like you I have now puchased a Grainfather mill and I am very pleased with the crush. I tried setting 5 initially but a much better result for me in my Speidel BRAUMEISTER was the number 6 setting. I notice you are not using your BAC Brewing plates. Did you have a reason for not using them. I love your fermenter, it makes everything very easy. Cheers mate keep up the great videos.

Thanks for the Video 👍. I use Braumeister 20l. How do you filter the wort from the hops before pumping into the fermenter?

I use a whirlfloc tablet 10 min left on the boil, after cooling just let the trub settle on bottom. Result is Cristal clear wort right to pump out the normal spigot or ball valve, I tilt te BM a bit and when the wort isn’t clear at the very end I stop the transfer. Works for me. 🍻 cheers

Adding oxygen after just splashing the wort into the fermenter it’s not necessary to add more oxygen us using dry yeast right of the package. When reused, after harvesting it’s necessary for sure but even after minimal doing it I had great results in the past. Not with this fermenter, BT sells a “oxygenation kit” for it but again, not necessary for most of the dry yeast. Cheers 🍻

@@homebeerbrewery yeah I've never had major issues and I usually don't re-use yeast but after a Bohemian Pilsner of mine turned out a bit too sweet, I considered buying an aeration kit for my Miniuni. That would also allow me to brew big beers like Barkey Wines which I love.
