I enjoy looking at this model. It's just such a different car. One comment I have is that the road video shows what i think is a lot of forward chassis movement as they drive over the almost perfect LA roads Jay uses as a test run. Around the real world, I can see the lower expensive front parts getting cut off pretty quickly.

I Love that Jay is an actual TRUE auto enthusiast that asks questions that are relevant and often throws a little curve ball that reminds you he really doesn't understand the inner workings of an engine and the little facets or mechanical changes that differentiate from generation to generation . I also love h for his general respect and just what a nice guy he is. Never trashing anyone or another car ,..and love that he CAN. Actually drive and has done quite a few events, track events etc,..he's so calm when doing 140mph down the highway in California. Lol I have noticed tho a few things he says every elisode nearly,..he doesn't like traditional auto transmissions ., and he imitates it's snow shift or downshift ever episode to his guest lol he Loved DCT transmissions. And always asks just ONE of THE questions the quest doesn't want asked., like the new Shelby GT500 when he said "now this is obviously a dry sump motor!,...right? " "Um , no, it's not" " oh,..cool cool" next question. Lol sometimes I feel like he knows and that's just the roasting comedian in him when a manufacture or builder does soenthing he doesn't like. He makes sure they know it was a bad choice. Have to laugh too wverytime he is the first to drive a new concept car or ore orodoction. Etc, and thy say soenthing about taking it easy and re runs it to redline Lololol perfect example, the c8 Corvette drive with e head of Corvezte,..first thing getting on he literal head honcho over Corvette says " now this c8 is a concept /pre production. C8 so it's de-tuned for the safety of the cars motor and transmission for 500 miles , it's not good to rev them before that SO obviously we don't want to do that with this one. And MY says yeah,..the. 13 seconds later,..Jay pushed the accelerator through the floor board hitting redline and 130+ MPH and the corvette pres says "well you're being bad, but that's not good for the motors engine to do that, clearly a little agitated but you can tell jay could give a crap lol. If you want to display a car or your company and beg to be on his show,..don't tell hi.m to drive it slow, don't say it's not ok to rev it out. Wait till ur fan if u need to. Lol

13:30 The engeneer who designed the countach in an interview that you can find in the Channel drive experience talked quite a bit about the enormous effort (since that was One of the first scissor doors) in designing Door hinges that would break in case the car would roll over so that people could break out of the car.

SLS is my favorite modern MB. Like the AMG GT, I prefer the standard car over the R or Black Series because the overal design language is on show and not over shadowed by all the aero and exposed carbon parts. The same for the 918 over the WP version. Look at the LP400 Countach over the later cars for purity of design and the massive value difference so others echo a similar appreciation for design over performance once the car is not new. LOVE the SLS, SLR, AMG GT and original SL Gullwing for the long hood design.
