Potter is the “ideal “ replacement- similar system and a man management master . Whether he can do it at a top club is the question - good luck to him

Yeah definitely as much as loved Tuchel i think the only downside to him was his man management so many attacking players wanted to leave under him hopefully Potter can bring the man management and technical management and settle the dressing room

I'm not sure a man management master could handle Chelsea players. There have been a long history of "losing dressing room" at Chelsea. Jose, Sarri, Tuchel all failed. NOt sure Potter can do any difference.
So when Graham sold Cucurella he was playing 3D chess🤔😂
Potter is the epitome of a modern coach, for me he's in the same bracket as Nagelsmann

It’s a very progressive appointment. I’m really happy with it! Sentiment over Lampard aside, this is the most I’ve been excited about a manager since we appointed Ancelotti.

Welcome to Chelsea ! Odd timing to sack Thomas Tuchel, but it is what it is. Hope Potter and his staff can turn our fortunes around
Good time to be bringing this out, good work.
This guy is perfect for Chelsea’s new long term view with the money spent on young players this summer

I’m almost excited about Potter becoming our manager as I was about Frank , his style of play and bringing young players through as most fans who go to games want to see

Should definitely be more excited- hes definitely the best English coach around, tactics are very impressive. As you said as well he brings in youth, and hes a good man to man coach. Just unfortunate our dressing room is full of 'stars' with huge egos- aubameyang is a horrible move imo but we'll see what happens.
Love the timing of this upload!
It took Utd 6 months to sack Ole and 6 months to appoint Ten Hag. Chelsea has done both those things in less than 48 hours. Efficiency 👌

Pretty cool video in retrospect. Curious to see how he meets his standards at the end of this season.
Great timing
Perfect time to upload
As a Swansea fan some very telling comments at the beginning about the lack of stability in the Swansea hierarchy, shame our club is such a mess.
I see him doing great with Chelsea
I'm a Leeds fan, been aware of Potters emergence as a Coach,. I think he can do as good a job as anyone if allowed to get on with it ..... That's the big Q .... He may fix it quickly.... If not will confidence and hope slip way ? he'll still be a good coach though. Good luck to him.
very timely
Love Tuchel forever, but I’ll support Potter regardless, welcome to Chelsea
the timing couldn't have possibly been better
Smart release CV :)
See what you did there CV 👀 Really shrewd appointment, rate him highly and this is coming from a united fan. Just hope the politics at chelsea don’t swallow him up.

Is not about style of play, is about changing different style of play , is easy for opponent to study a coach style of play but having different style and pattern that will favour any coach coming to Chelsea to succeed

Welcome to Chelsea
Realistically Tuchel was the best we were gonna get in terms of an elite manager. Anyone after him is a downgrade and as much as I think Potter is a fantastic manager he has some big shoes to fill and must earn the trust of the fans. TT will always be a Chelsea legend!

Less than 50% win ratio at the bridge last year. And since December the football has genuinely been atrocious. Furthermore our attack is a joke, the entire tactic was give it to Reece James and hope. He had to go

One problem I had with fans were the complaints about the 3-4-3 system we played under TT. But it seems everyone seems to not care anymore because Graham also play that same system. What's different?

I’m a chelsea fan. But I don’t understand why we always back legendary managers when they’re guiding the team in the wrong direction. I remember when everyone at Chelsea was supporting Mourinho when the team was languishing in 16th place.

@@michaelannan5255 more the players than the fans I think. Its a system that really should've worked with the quality we have- it shone but inconsistent because of the players, not tuchel. I absolutely love potter but still a bit worried, whats to say it wont happen again.
