The older I get the more I appreciate living in smaller towns, with less traffic, a slower pace, and getting to really know your neighbors!

amen, I despise Cities ...
As a former truck driver you can testify that Dallas has terrible traffic. The speed limits on the interstate highways are 129 kilometers an hour
The narrator said "DWF!" (It's DFW - as in Dallas/Fort Worth.) He's clearly an expert on the region. 😅
Fun Fact: You can visit/tour Southfork Ranch from the show Dallas 😊
Hello From Dallas, Texas
There are longhorns all over Texas. Peace from Central Texas Hook'em Horns 🤘
I am Texan through and through, currently living in St. Louis. I can't tell you how much I miss Dallas/Ft. Worth. Each are very different, and each are an amazing! The Ft. Worth Stockyards are a must see, if visiting. The Longhorn cattle are beautiful! Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio are all beautiful and I would encourage you to visit them all. There are some great smaller towns as well. I can't wait to get back home! Y'all should visit! You will love it!
My house got terrible hail damage this Spring…golf ball size hail! Anyways, 2,000.00 deductible for insurance! I got new roof shingles & bigger 6”rain gutters on! I had no issues getting a company ! They gave a good price & worked w/our insurance! Very pleased w/ the new roof shingles! So happy!☺️👏🏻
I loved Dallas; my son lived in Dallas/Fort Worth for about three years before moving back to Kentucky. I would live there.
At the Fort Worth stockyards, they do a small cattle drive twice a day.
The reason our roads and freeways are so clean of litter is because we care for our creeks and rivers . All drainage in these Cities and towns run into our water ways and strait into our Oceans.

I’m not sure that’s the reason, lol.
You need to show us your aquarium after you get it all set up, hope to see Leah new addition Fredrick. 😊
During the 60s and 70s litter was a huge issue in the USA. There was a massive anti-littering campaign that included larger fines and more policing but most impactful was education for kids in school and TV ads with a theme of inducing shame and guilt in those who litter. One of the most memorable ads featured a native American paddling a canoe through a polluted river and them walking up along a freeway and having a bag of litter, tossed from a passing car, land at his feet. The camera close up of the tear running down his cheek left an impression on everyone who watched it..especially the kids of that era.

Many people don't realize it, but the motto : "Don't Mess with Texas" was actually the slogan of an anti-litter campaign.
I am in Houston Texas. It’s currently raining. We have had really bad storms here the past few weeks.

Y'all clearly never heard of Houston Texas because that city is way bigger and growing non stop🤘💯
I moved to Lantana Texas 7 years ago. I am north of Dallas about 30 miles, so still a part of the metroplex. About 7 miles west of here and there is nothing much but land clear across Texas. This is the cleanest, nicest, and most friendly place I’ve ever been to. I love it here and hope you get to enjoy it here someday too.
Lived in Dallas when they was working on the Central Expressway what we called the spaghetti bowl because it looks like someone dropped noodles on the ground and made them roads. I lived about 9 miles from work and even taking back roads would take 2 hrs to get to work. Also remember when you do come most big roads in Dallas are tole roads.
the looping roads that you see are called Mix Masters (or spaghetti). For the most part, all highway exits are on the right so when in doubt, stay to the right. However, there are exceptions. Your phone's GPS should see you through :) There is one mix master in particular (called the High Five) that always gives me butterflies. The highest lane is as tall as a 12 story building. Found at the junction of interstate 635 and US highway 75
Some call those freeways mixmaster. I used to drive through Dallas and Irving. And it sucked all of the major cities have stop and go traffic at certain times of the day, you just have to know where you're going and get used to it. Peace from Central Texas Hook'em Horns 🤘
Greetings from Ft Worth. Had some pretty significant storms two days ago. Lots of hail (a little bit bigger than golf ball sized). Luckily my car was in the garage when the storms hit.
Regarding litter: In many states there are stiff fines for littering. If you get caught throwing a candy wrapper on the ground, It is a $500.00 fine in the Midwest. I can not speak for depressed areas. Very best regards to all in The Graham Family
Be sure to use the GPS in your car for seamless travel.
Hello from Dallas. We have lived in downtown Dallas for the last 28 and it is a completely different city since we moved here. There isn’t a direction that you can see from downtown that doesn’t have cranes building new high rises. If your family flies into Texas, I would recommend DFW Airport. There are domestic and international flights to every point on earth. I highly suggest that you meet one of your KZread channel friends here and let them ease you into driving in Texas and especially any of the 4 cities of the “Texas Triangle”. It is FAST, often ‘bumper to bumper’ traffic and this video spared showing you the bigger highway multiple layer, multiple direction overpasses. There is actually a video I’ve seen on KZread that describes “the things you need to know before driving in Texas” and that video could actually use a part two.. Let us know if you plan to fly over and when and think we can round up some unofficial Texas welcoming ‘ambassadors’. Take care and thank you for the great video reactions.
Something I think you'd find cool, go to Bachman Lake and watch the planes take off and land. It neighbors Dallas Love Field and the planes fly over so low it feels like u can touch them. Some people say Bachman Lake has become sketchy but Ive done this numerous times lying on a blanket in the grass watching the planes without incident 😊

Thank you for your service. God bless and keep you always. 🇺🇸🙏🏻❤
I taught school in Houston for 12 years and the traffic is horrible! Hey 45 is the second busiest highway in the US.
We got hit hard in tx. Have been for a few weeks now. Last week a Tornado got really close to my sons College 😮 university of North Texas. It ended up destroying the near by town. 😢 what we got 2 days ago was horrible. Winds at 70-80-and 90 mph. Snapping trees all over the city. But i think Dallas and the near by suburbs got hit the hardest. Luckily our family got 0 damage
The Worst Driver's Are In Houston, Texas About 4-5hours South of Dallas Depending On Traffic & Construction
Yeah! 😂
You can still see the Southfork Ranch from the Dallas show. It isn't in the city of Dallas, but rather in the city of Parker (a suburb of Dallas).
If you fly into Austin Texas you will be very close to a huge Bucees and a huge Cabela's, AKA Bass Pro shop as well as the best BBQ in Texas. Blacks BBQ. Featured on many European's KZreadrs channels. You won't be disappointed. And they are all either in or very close to Austin you could easily visit all of them in one day. Leaving you plenty of time for everything else.
"Dallas" was actually filmed in Parker, Texas. 25 miles outside Dallas proper. I think that this talking about the Dallas Metro area, not just the city of Dallas.
If you and your family ever visit Louisiana during Mardi gras don't go to New Orleans to celebrate go to either Lafayette, New Roads, Baton Rouge & for a unique experience to celebrate the holiday to go to Mamou for a Cajun version of Mardi gras be sure check out some of the videos
A recent survey named the "dirtiest" city in the United States, and earning the top spot this year is none other than Houston, Texas, taking the crown from last year's dirtiest, Newark, New Jersey.
Here in Michigan there use to be trash all up and down our highways and freeways. Until a law was created that anyone caught littering paid a hefty fine. The State got prisoners to pick up the trash along these places. Since then our State has not had a HUGE issue with trashy roadsides. Love From Michigan and it's a beautiful evening ❤️
I Really think Yall would love the Dallas world aquarium, and the Perot Science Museum… if you came in September, Yall can come to the Texas state fair… Dallas also has amazing barbecue restaurants which Yall wont want to miss
Dallas-Fort Worth is actually pretty great for a more rural experience. Yes there are huge buildings and it's scattered through many miles, but if you drive 30 minutes out of the city you will hit a farm. So get the best of both worlds 😊
I remember when my Sister went to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, being Christian no alcohol but there were bars in walking distance and the drinking age in 1982 in Texas was 18. So one evening my Dad couldn’t reach my sister by phone, so he looked up the closest bar to the University and called it and said hi I want to talk to Joe the bartender and a guy came on and said hey this is Joe can I help you? My dad said can ask if Stacey B&&& is there and he said yes she is and my dad said please tell her dad says she should be back at the dorm studying and please call me when she can. My sister called and said Dad how did you know where I was and did you know there was a bartender named Joe there? My dad said the answer to the first question is I’m your dad and to the second question is every bar in the USA has a bartender named Joe 😂
DFW is larger than the states of Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island combined
Dallas Cowboys training center moved to California 20 years ago. Thousands of people without electricity when it’s over 100°.
Houston definitely is a wild place to drive
Everytime I have visited Dallas I allways miss a turn on that area of freeways.
It’d be cool if you did the quiz where it tells you what region of the US your dialect is most close to!❤
I seen it in the morning of Thursday on the East Coast of the US
You should be careful driving anywhere at anytime. One thing you need to be ready for is the number of lanes you must navigate in sizeable America's cities. You need to have a competent passenger to give you an extra set of eyes. While she is right about the signs, she is also wrong. You may see a sign but cutting across 4 or 5 lanes of traffic is the issue and you must be two steps ahead in preparation. Some exchanges are bunched close together. I'm familiar with your highways. America's highways are much larger with many more exits, exchanges and much heavier traffic.
my home!
We are fine except for those that aren't of course, A few didn't fare so well & many went without power. It happens this time of year. He is probably close to right. But things change.

A logo for a particular road is printed in the lane you need to be in to access that road.
He missed the Dallas Stars Hockey that play tonight Stanley Cup playoffs! Go Stars! You can catch any sport you want if you’re here at the right time even Texas vs Oklahoma Red River Rivalry College Football game at the Texas State Fair (Boomer Sooner!). So much to see and do here. Also, DFW International Airport is #3 busiest in the world so you should just fly direct.😊Look forward to you guys when you make it. ❤
I used to live in North Dallas years ago but am now living in Arlington near the cowboys stadium. Things do seem to be growing. Housing prices are up for Texas standards. Still cheaper than somewhere like Cali or NY. Overall I think it’s been good. Lots of work everywhere, everyone’s hiring. Traffic has always been bad but now it’s getting crazy. Texans drive fast and when you get a Cali plate going 15 under the speed limit and it causes issues. The DFW area has some of the deadliest highways in the US. I think most of it is ppl not used to Texas driving culture. Just yesterday I saw a Kansas plate going 30mph on an on-ramp to a 70mph highway. Like wtf. Slow drivers are more dangerous on highways than fast ones imo.
I don't get the fascination with Texas from people abroad. The amount of traffic and congestion is unbelievable. There are so many other places in the USA that are way more beautiful, affordable and less congested.
I’ve been to Dallas once. The traffic in the winter sucks
If y’all wanna move to Dallas tx and don’t wanna move to the city. Y’all can move to the suburbs in Dallas
Houston east Katy freeway is the largest highway in the world with 24 lanes across
You don’t have to live in the city. There are small towns on the outskirts of the city
Check out the video of the mall of America in Minnesota
As a 65-year-old Texan! I hate all the big towns. I worked in Houston, but drove 72 miles, 144 malls round Trip! The hours we worked, I could get in and out of Houston with out much trouble. If you had to work 30 minutes or more late, was running a little bit late. Traffic was really bad, But this was years ago. Traffic is way worse now! I only go into Houston if I have to see some Dr specialist! I will just stay in the country!
There were plenty of signs on the roads to let you know where you're going well in advance of where you have to go. Plus always use GPS between that and the signs. It will get you where you're going.
Driving on Dallas highway really isn’t bad just look at your iPhone or gps you’ll be just fine
my city Arlington Texas is the largest city in the u.s,that doesn’t have any sort of railway nor public transit 😅
I kinda feel like just about every city, no matter where you go in the US, has a very clean side and a bit of a rundown side. Typically the downtown area of any city, especially a major city, will be clean and well developed, while other parts may be more rundown.
You so often wear a t-shirt from Rancho Cucamonga, California. I live there. The home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. A minor league baseball team. Yes, earthquakes are a part of life. Thankfully, not too often.
Visit Bohemia and Moravia because those areas recovered quickly from communism and the countryside is beautiful. I feel strange as an American telling Slovaks about the CR.
Used to watch Dallas also! LOL
Round abouts freak me out!!
Go to Florida
When are you guys coming to America ? I hope soon
I'm In Oak Cliff A Dallas Suburb
Downtown walk-ability in Dallas is improving but that's improvement from zero. It's not a city like Chicago or NYC or Boston. Public transportation is improving also, but again, not the same as cities that have it established.
Litter is a PET peev of mine too!
San Antonio is another Texas city you should think about visiting.
I don't understand why people from other countries think these big cities are so great. They are to visit once or twice but the outer smaller cities are so much better for traffic, nicer people and peaceful. Texas has a lot of good things but your not thinking about how hot it gets there is crazy, just the weather in general and it's right on the border of Mexico! You guys think 1.2 million new residence since 2010 is a lot under our president Biden he has let 15 million illegal people into our country in 3 years mostly from the border of Texas. Big cities are nice but cheaper to stay outside of the bigger cities and cheaper on the East coast.\/
Just read the signs beforehand and make sure your in the right lane or 😮

Hello Y'all need to check out fort Worth as well. I think y'all well like it.
If you come to Texas, just Google where you’re going get on the freeways and flow with the traffic no problems.
Something to note, Frisco/Plano are legit cities that aren't considered Dallas, so if you reapply the economic logic from this video to Texas cities, it makes Fort Worth bump ahead of dallas for being the upcoming power house (not that I consider dallas as a power house).
Think about possibly living in Fort Worth
Most American cities have no roundabouts
I lived in the Dallas area when I was younger. Anyway, my middle child went to Baylor University where he met the girl of his dreams. I'm finally a grandfather to a beautiful grandson. I'm just wondering why I'm telling you this, well my wife is doing her best to get me to move there. My condition is I have to live by one of the Dallas lakes waterfronts preferably. I don't particularly appreciate driving the Dallas area, thus lake living. Preferably LEWISVILLE LAKE, OLD Lake Dallas. Leaving San Antonio is bittersweet but, I have a grandson, and I need to teach that boy how to fish, shoot, build etc...Still hate driving there, LOL.
Imagine driving on that...... EVERYDAY! I do. I have to drive DFW everyday. It's still better than Austin. Austin sucks
There also forgetting El Paso
Born raised 5th generation Dallasite. We are way different from Austin (yuck), Houston (double yuck), San Antonio (whatever). DALLAS is the best !!! From the song: That is 'Big D, little a, double L, A, S'

This video leaves out important info. So much so, that I'm sure this is a paid commercial. YT is full of infomercials. You don't see litter because the camera crew cleans up before they film. Remember, this is a promotional video. They only show you the good.
You guys think this guy is excited of his fish tank 😊
The reason why Texas is having a population boom, is due to people fleeing states like California, Illinois and New York because they are hell holes to live in and not because companies are moving/located there, those companies are doing the same exact thing the people are and for the same exact reasons. My own state like Texas has had a population boom of "refugees" from other states, primarily from New York which has shot our population numbers up immensely and now has taken the spot formerly held by New York as the 3rd most populated state. Also if you ever do go to Texas I would avoid Austin like the plague, the city has basically turned into a mini LA and is just as awful since the people fleeing LA are the ones typically moving to Austin, if ya still do opt to go I cannot stress enough that 6th street is the primary place you wanna avoid at all costs while in Austin.

Dallas growth has been slowing and starting to go into a population reduction. Fort Worth is now the fastest growing in the state and just moved up to the 12th largest in the US. I avoid Dallas as much as possible. The traffic is terrible, the drivers are aggressive, and the roads are unable to expand in most areas because the infrastructure is built up right along the roads.
🔥🤟⛪👨👩👧👦🇺🇸
DFW not DWF . Fort Worth came first in founding the area . So , I beg to differ on how Dallas is the future
I live 20 minutes east of Dallas. You don't have to live in the city. Buy something in a suburbs.
Criminy! I'm not annoyed by you pausing to react. But do you really have to apologize every darn time? It's okay...it's a reaction video.
The new king of the hill reboot will be in Dallas not Arlen like the original series. Actually you should react to Hank hill’s wisdom from the show as he really tells it from a more down to earth point of view and it’s a good lesson. Hank is a propane salesman who works for a company but he has to go throughout town to fix things and he’s just really into his job.

You speak a lot about littering, most Americans don't like to litter. In certain places, such as California, the fine for littering is a $1,000.
