Great combination there but if you were to go brown with the shoes/belt then I suggest you go with a charcoal grey pants instead. Thanks for watching!

Black is the most formal color. I suggest the classic white shirt + black tie or red tie+ black pants combo for this one but if you want to add the blue with the red tie, that could work as well. Just make sure it’s not a very dark blue

Hey what would you suggest I wear ? My cap and gown are black. So far some ideas I have are white button shirt with gray plaid pants , black belt, and black loafers. Is that good ?

Would suggest no pattern on the pants but if they are subtle than you could pull em off. I suggest a more formal shoe but wear black socks with the loafers if you plan to wear them (don’t go sock less). Lastly, make sure to add a tie. Congratulations btw!

Can't go wrong with your white dress shirt and black tie with charcoal pants. You can use the advice mentioned in this video and combine subtle patterns. Here's a reference pic of a guy pulling off a purple suit with a window pane patterned shirt and polka dot tie. I personally would've gone for something for subtle for the tie but it works! pin.it/c7woqavgdbk2po

Khaki if going with brown shoes. You can go with plan white or a light blue shirt.

I say stick with charcoal grey pants and white dress shirt if your gown is black. You can use a patterned tie that has a hint of yellow to make it stand out a bit more of you like.

I'll be critical, but not hateful. 1) all navy is a good, thoughtful outfit. Can't go wrong. Navy and black looks way worse. Contrast is good when done well, but monochrome has sophistication. 2) your tie doesn't work with your shirt. Try either a bolder stripe or change the patterns. And change the colour too. 3) if you wanna wear a tie longer than the waistband level, make sure it looks intentional by ensuring the thinner 'blade' of the tie is visible 4) lastly, most of the outfit is gonna be covered by what I call 'garbage', so even if you have a stunning outfit, ppl won't know. If you have a shitty outfit, ppl won't know either, you can get away more easily. I have my graduation next week and I'm dreading putting on that hideous gown, hood, mortarboard.

Appreciate for taking the time to write all this and contribute to the video. As for the tie/shirt combo. I believe it works given that they are separate patterns and do add contrast with the red. I have gone with a full red tie with this shirt and I believe it adds a very nice pop but anyways thanks for watching and congratulations!
