I think it's a big problem with fame in general, there is a small audience and big audience mentality and you have to grow at a pace that's healthy for you and your content. But you'll never know who is going to blow up overnight these days. It's easy to get sucked into the power that you might think you have then be shattered by the realization that you constantly have eyes on you at all times. These people that blow up overnight might not be used to be criticized much at all and now suddenly everyone is bearing down on them. This is why I try not to sweat being a small channel for so long, it's slow but at least I know I can handle the attention I do get.

In the end these are internet personalities, they're not without flaws as human beings and sometimes even the most genuine looking KZreadr could hide dark secret, especially with the recent Mammamax controversy. There are a lot of people pretending to do the "good fight" while behind the scenes they themselves hold or do something shady. It doesn't mean there are no genuinely good KZreadrs, but one should always keep their eyes open for people they follow but don't actually know.

Reactor was truly one of the all time goats, this guy was manipulating algorithms and fucking with people on so many levels. Truly ahead of his time.

The reason why drama against Keemstar never works: His whole content is drama, by raising drama against him you are merely bringing what feeds him to his doorstep and completely covering all the delivery and shipping fees on his behalf. Man, I remember in grade 7 when a kid in my class drew the GradeAUnderA character on the whiteboard and introduced me to his channel in... early-mid 2016? Then I went to another school and everyone there was obsessed with the H3H3-Idubbbz-FilthyFrank guys in late 2016... how times change, I'm almost shedding a tear. I went through the entire Leafy archive earlier this year and it was great (the title Ketchup_faggot.mp4 still makes me laugh), still haven't caught up to his Rumble streams. The titles are too alt-right for my tastes, even though I know Leafy isn't apart of that crowd which his audience is so attracted to.

oh man the memories during the Reactor era. He was a comedic genius and made the whole thing a once in a lifetime experience

I started to slowly regret starting to watch this video less than halfway into the video since I knew it would ultimately ruin GradeAUnderA for me, but I knew that there was no going back now, so I stayed and watched. And I can happily say that I'm very happy with how the video ended. 10/10 Would recommend watching. Very rare(1/inf) KZread drama video that ends on a happy note.

I already wasn't keen on him since I saw his videos on the English alphabet and animals and I didn't realize it was a joke untill I saw this video

I unfortunately work with someone kinda like GradeA. He's a two-faced person who will talk the worst shit about someone behind their back then be all buddy-buddy with that same person. I can't stand those kind of people, I try to avoid the guy by looking busy with work and staying quiet whenever he tries to start with the "He did this, she said that" with me. EDIT: 9/5/22: Soooooo I have an update about said coworker here. Dude got fired for sexual harassment the week prior to writing this, and it wasn't just towards one female coworker. It was several. Reports of unwanted hugging and touching (which...can confirm, he at one point came up behind me to hug me and I freaked out on him, nearly swung because I have some touch-related trauma that I'm not willing to disclose here, but told him to fuck off at the last second. Told my husband who also works with us and knows about my traumas and...he had some choice words, we'll say, about what'll happen if he ever touched me without my permission again), vulgar talk towards them, and at one point with one woman even rubbing his junk against them. One of the women even gave corporate an ultimatum, she essentially said "fire him or I quit". I guess it's true what they say, good things come to those who wait. At least now I can work in peace.

The p*dophilia accusations are what pushed him to make a video on Keemstar when in the past he had stuck by him. P*dophilia is something that is completely indefensible. While GradeAUnderA could overlook Keemstar's edgy jokes, he couldn't overlook the p*dophilia accusations

From what I remember of this guy, I watched the occasional video and found it moderately amusing, thought it was a decent exaggerated satirical character, then realized over time that was actually just them

I loved Grade's videos like the girl drinks vs man drinks and he wonderfully hilarious, and I still use it today, description of the Brazilian Wandering Spider (boner death spider). The jokes made at VeganGains, I was on board with because it pretty much described the hypocrisy of most aggressive vegans I ever came across, and I truly appreciate the fact he helped spread awareness even further on the abuse Santaro went through with Arbour after Rob's interview on Drama Alert (which further puts a hold on my belief that abuse has no gender). But beyond that, a lot of the drama content I didn't really watch and, honestly, since watching this video, think he should have stayed away from. Nicely done video, Turkey Tom.

I appreciated his really old stuff. It’s a shame his content has gone downhill somewhat. Although he has made a couple newer videos in the vein of his older content.

If you're not from the US which most of the world is not then tipping is viewed as really stupid in a lot of places(because people are actually paid liveable wages at least in most first world countries) and is not the standard unless you're at a fancy restaurant or recieve exceptional service. @@austindecaux7895 Yeah in the UK (where GradeA is from) waiters are given living wages so it's not expected that you tip. Tipping is entirely optional and really only done if you're given exceptional service. I would be a bit annoyed if a waiter asked for a tip, since in UK you're expected to be humble and not ask for extra money, if you've earned it then you don't need to ask. In a lot of places, the service charge is already included and I find it quite deceptive when waiters don't point that out when I offer a tip, especially when it's like 25% already 😢 but I wouldn't think they're lesser for just asking, maybe if they demanded it lol. Waiters just want to make money like 99% of everyone else on the planet. Not talking down to you, just explaining in case any more Americans are confused at that view. It's so weird in USA that people are indoctrinated into paying workers wages for a company to the point that if you can't afford a tip because you're poor, then you're heckled as evil, as if it's _your_ fault a soulless multi-million corporation decided to have legal slaves.

grade was going through depression, and probably went back into depression shortly after trying to fix his life, uploading recently (with similar 'im back?' titles) and stuff. he is forever a someone i hold close to my heart. he probably couldnt understand the joke as that is one of the side effects of being a miserable old bastard. its just that when youre so down that every little inconvenience (even a tiny joke) makes you lose your fucking shit right? but when you react like that you feel even worse which creates a loop. ive been there, ive done that, and im even still there and doing that. we cant know anything for sure because this man is in unimaginable pain, amplified by the fact that if he werent in such a stoic frenzy and had the control to not act like that he could fully pull himself together. but this is why this situation is such deep shit. i hope this comment makes it to the right places because i dont even know if it is a smidgeon of understandable as i am drunk (haha balkan man drink funny) to forget about my feelings of not being able to feel my feelings, basically trying to numb numbness. amplified by the knowledge that being sober would allow me to pick myself back up. but maybe i dont want to, which proves my point, miserable people dont want to get better after a certain (uncertain) point. forgive grade as youd forgive me. i wish that man the resolution of his sins. the change in himself that he seeks.

you can see every phase of a man going insane on grade's channel, although it is taboo for me to defend him maybe, for fear of blindly defending a loved creator of mine out of nostalgia and getting blasted for it, and maybe i should conform, but i never have, i have the urge to provide for people that i genuinely respect and love (as there are so few of them) and although i dont agree with nearly half the things grade says i feel him and respect him as a person. i feel obliged to respect his presence as a human being. in a way he fills the void of an ever unpresent, ever troublesome elder brother that i just need to help because we are family. but because ive never felt what family feels like maybe i am just trying to boost his mood so he can keep being a monkey for my own entertainment. i feel some of you feel the insanity here. insanity is alright, not one sane person has ever made progress in this world as all sane people think in the norm and the current meta, like how when counter strike global offensive was a very new game, pro players (most of whom were veterans of the older counter strikes) did not utilise many molotvs/incendiaries even though theyre arguably the most powerful piece of utility. insanity is progress at the cost of the individual. most of the time it leads nowhere, but sometimes it is just enough to make a leap. so i respect this disgraceful maths teacher for being literally insane.

I agree with most of what you said. However, Grade did form his own opinion, he (and others), just switched and made videos on their friend _just_ for money! I believe Leafy and Grade spoke and both agreed to go at Keem because they saw how profitable Idubbz video was and they wanted some of that. The way they would do that would be piggy-backing off of each other with videos. He never cared about what Keem said and did previously and I believe he still doesn’t, but money can make people do some stupid/greedy things!

@@justausername5749 Grade knew about Keemstar's shady past from the get go but he didn't care but then 'coincidentally' changed his depending on what was more financially beneficial to him and then proceeded to pretend to be suddenly offended over trivial things he already knew which is scummy. As for false accusations of pedophilia (which Keemstar is guilty of) ,Grade also ended up falsely accusing Keemstar of the same thing and ruined others for drama. They're both awful people but Grade acting like a victim over Keemstar's comments made ages ago about someone else that he was fine with before (until he saw a chance for more cash is bad). Keen is bad but nobody likes it when a friend stabs their friend in the back for money, clout and being on the bandwagon so people would naturally feel at least a slither of empathy for Keemstar's situation with that.

Spent most of this video thinking "ah yeah this is around the time I checked out and unsubscribed… wait no I recognize this too" It seemed like any second he would drop the shit and go back to being funny, he could have done it with zero consequences too if he had the balls to say "whoopsie doopsies I fucked up a little right, sorry" at literally any point Except his jokes don't really hit the same when everyone knows his "comedic persona" is actually just his inability to understand nuance

Wow what a trip down memory lane, I haven't thought about a lot of these youtubers in years.

Damn, he was handsome. Guy had SO many plans for youtube and made a lot of kids' childhoods better. I was looking forward to his maths channel he was on about a few times. Just realised I started watching this guy when I was an early teen and am now in my 20s and still want more. Miss his videos. Seen them all loads.

I feel like this is a kind of case of the saying “slow growth builds character, rabid growth builds ego”

I remember thinking Grade's yelling style was a little grating, but the second I heard him call Mark's hair "period blood" I knew this dude was nothing I wanted to deal with. And I'm not really even a Mark fan, I just thought it was the stupidest thing I had ever heard.

It was the same with Leafy. He was never even close to being 100% serious, he was just screwing around and talking shit, yet everybody took him completely seriously and demonized him for really nothing. There are creators that have said and done _much worse_ that are still on the platform now and are being paid millions by Google to do it.

@@Zeroshiki Honestly, Leafy was just shit. I mean, don't get me wrong, doesn't mean he can't stay on KZread or something. But the content cop, for instance, was a great example. He's just shit. He talks shit and can't take it, and he's just super insecure. Leafy is the kind of content creator where you just have to ask "Who watches this, and why?" Which, hats off to him, I'm perplexed why people watch him, I think he's just shit, but at least he isn't literally a groomer like Onision or something. He's just annoying lol.

GradeA if he could control his emotions a bit he would have been a top British KZreadr. But Turkey Tom is definitely the best British KZreadr now.

Same! KZread used to be so fun and funny when in high school, I used to watch Cryoatic (sp?) back then too. Hearing and seeing what has happened to who I used to watch after school is just saddening! Not to mention how a lot of them either don’t post or have moved to other apps/websites because of how sheit youtube is now!

This man’s downfall was so sudden. When he came back I was ready to give him another chance until about halfway through his first video back. 🤦🏽‍♂️
