Definitely great for tradesmen! I'm one myself and its perfect. Maybe a professional painter might need a bigger model but I know pros that run this as well so. . . . All perspective

For sure, we completely agree! Ideal for builders, carpenters, and handyman that include painting as part of the scope. The only reason we stress for painting professionals is that Graco's factory warranty is very much dependant on application. Given the volumes of paint sprayed by trade painters, the warranty policy of our professional airless range is better suited! Hope that makes sense.

Why not the rac X guard and tip?

Hello, trying to spray basement ceiling with Behr Pro Dryfall paint in Flat Black. My Project Plus kept getting clogged every 2 to 3 passes. Thinking of getting the X19. Wondering if you guys have any recommendations for spraying Behr Pro Dryfall paint.

If you had taken a moment to read the instruction you would have noticed it the paint is clogging then you need to use paint thinner to correct that issue But hey just saying

Just curious where are you getting the daily limit numbers? I do not see them in any info from graco

Hey Aguila, great question! We came up with the daily guideline here at GO as a way to simplify which units are for what projects. We found the yearly limit to be too theoretical, and less relevant for the projects we face daily. Through customer feedback and plenty of testing we determined that these are the rough daily limits to ensure you get the most life out of your Graco Magnum sprayer. Hope this helps! 🙌

Only water based paint?

So this model works only with water based paint? Great video by the way i always watch you from Mexico bro

Hey Cesar, we appreciate the support from Mexico! 🙌 This unit is best suited for water-based paints, if you have some oil based to spray just make sure you are flushing and spraying in an open space!

Hey mate, That's no problem, thanks for watching! I have used the X5 and it is a good unit for spraying multiple rooms. With your interior/exterior project I would recommend the ProX17 or ProX19. Just to be on the safe side and get more life from the unit! Hope that helps! 🙌

Yeah x5 is good too i’ve been using x5 from last 2 years and done many houses even semi gloss and its pretty good i think now i am thinking to buy a magnum pro x17

Will this or the X5 or X7 spray any epoxy or mulch glue?

This unit won't be suitable for epoxy or mulch glue unfortunately, the pump and motor aren't suited to handle the viscosity of chemical makeup of these materials.

Is there any real performance advantage of having this stand version rather than the cart? The cart package is significantly more expensive.

More or less the same unit, it really comes down to preference. The motor size for the ProX19 is marginally larger, and will handle more work. However the ProX17 will still pack a punch if you're budget conscious. In our opinion, you can't go wrong either way!

Can you use fflp tips with this?

Absolutely, we actually prefer this unit with the FFLP tips! You will need to purchase an additional Rac X Guard to suit the FFLP tips (green tips go with the blue guard); as the included Rac 5 Guard (orange) only suits the TrueAirless tips. If you buy the kit from GO Industrial, you get 2 x FFLP tips included, and a 40cm tip extension, which includes that Rac X guard as standard.

Hey Javier, Great comment! You can definitely spray cabinets with this unit. If you are looking to get a factory style finish (best finish possible) then I would recommend something like the Graco HVLP unit. It isn't as fast or cheap but will deliver the best possible finish. However, if you are doing some furniture restoration, then the ProX17 would be perfect for that and more! Hope this helps

What is the difference between that with the cart version? The cart is about almost 200 expensive.

The ProX19 cart has a slightly larger motor, and therefore can handle a slightly bigger max tip size, and deliver more flow. It’ll be pretty minimal over a few jobs - it’s really down the user preference and whether you’d prefer a cart with wheels, or a stand!

Great question! If you are a builder and a looking to do a few jobs here and there, then either the ProX17 or ProX19. If you are a painter and you'll be using it every day look at the 390 to the 495. If you are a roof painter, then the 695 or 795 would be for you. Hope this helps! 🙌

Can this paint sprayer spray an oil based paint ?

It can spray certain types of oil based paints, depending on their viscosity, dry time and aggressiveness of the thinners recommended. Let us know if there's any particular oils you're wanting to spray!

Why no wheels I seen this same model with wheels did you get riding the wheels

Magnum x7 CAN spray way more than 15 liters. Dont let this guy fool you

If it can't spray latex roof coating it's a waste of money.
