Notice how effortlessly entertaining she is; she has the knack for being mesmerizing when she talks. So smart, so charismatic, so charming. Which explains why she sings so well; she's telling a story and she's a great actress. Which is why her music videos are so good and why she'll have no trouble being Stargirl. My admiration for this genius knows no bounds.

My mind is forever blown. That deep insight of hers about musicians and actors. So simple, so obvious, yet no one ever used that theory to explain why many more actors become musicians than the opposite. Acting doesn’t satisfy one’s urge to express their true selves like music does. It is that simple. From Jeff Bridges and Steve Martin to Bacon Brothers, Johnny Depp to Jamie Foxx and even Keanu Reeves, they all prove Grace’s point beyond any shadow of doubt. I felt two things while watching this interview. One, the hosts were moved by her as if they were listening to a motivational speaker. Two, we are much like Newton just playing with pebbles on the shore, while the whole ocean in front of us, that is her mind, remains to be explored. All the wisdom and insights she will give us in her lifetime can and will change the world. You may not have realised yet, but she already makes you want to be someone she would respect and admire.

Grace's point is interesting and defendable, but I am not sure this is the reason of why actors become singers more than the opposite. Because I truly think actors express part of themselves too, by interpreting the role they get in their own way, by exploring some deep part of them. Acting a murderer for instance, demands from the actor to explore dark parts of himself, experiencing angry, jealousy, nastiness...in his own way. Second, when the interviewer sums up Grace's think by saying actors have a script...it is true, but script is not acting, it is only guidelines. Plus, singers can have scripts too as they don't always sing their own songs. See Grace, loving covering other songs than hers. It is kind of acting too I think. Hope I made my point clear...

nathasion - I think you made your point clear. I would agree that Grace's singing, whether her own song or covering someone else's, is like acting. Especially the emotional songs - she goes deep into the song and makes it her own.

Most 14 yr old girls can talk up a storm like this, it's just that Grace can do it in front of a mic where normal girls would freeze up. Millie can talk up a storm just as natural as this, both girls are very smart. Watching a video of Millie and Maddie together you can't help notice how much smarter Millie was and I wondered how Grace would handle how quick Millie is. They really would make good friends if they found themselves living in LA some day

to any of the interviewers who might read my comment, you were in the presence of perhaps the greatest female voice to have ever lived at the tender age of only 13 how dare you guys not applaud and tell her how unbelievably amazing that version of that song sounded right there at the moment she finished!my god what’s wrong with you big headed want to be famous radio hosts all of you should’ve stood up from your stools and bowed down to her thanking her for the honor and privilege to have her sing that amazing song for us .each time she sings a song she puts her heart and soul into that moment in performing the song that’s why they all change slightly cause she’s not robotic that’s what i love about her live performances it’s always fresh and new.that was the best performance of that song i’ve heard and you guys just sat there and said nothing about it after she just poured it out of her soul i would’ve been like on the floor holding my chest going you just captured my heart may i please have it back?i promise i’ll do something noble with it.

I'm not really into defending them but if you listened to their questions they were basically about AGT, a tour and live performances. Since radio doesn't play her and they have to handle so many singers that was probably the 1st or 2nd time they've heard Moonlight. They never asked her how a 13 year old handled Japan, Austria, Jason Mraz, Cindi Lauper, Katy Perry still to this day hasn't met her or even why that is significant. The guy on the far right is a Fanderwaal the other 3 don't really know much about her but I still enjoyed this interview. If you watch it again they edited it right after she finished the song so we have no idea how they reacted, he did give her a great compliment at the end

In a prior interview she spoke about when she writes a song, she literally sees it played out in her head. Like Moonlight she knew what and how it would be played out in the Video. I stand, that up to this moment it has been Grace and all Grace from the get go. Anybody can correct me on this one, she said that when the industry tries to change me I will walk away. Katy Pery, Pink, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Madonna, all did and are still doing it their way. They all can just flat out sing, well maybe all but one, but made millions anyway. In that sense Simon's comment about being the next Taylor Swift, what he meant that Grace will join the ranks of these artists because she is determined to emulate their work ethics and to exercise her independence along the way. What a Gift! There are no words to describe this interview, except, "Mind Blown." (borrowed)

B) Secondly, I think she could definitely write the screenplay for herself - I almost predict that actually coming to pass.
