Can you believe a thirteen year old can sing this song with this kind of depth and passion? What I really love is she didn't say "hey this will increase my fan base"(because obviously this is not a song to appeal to young teens)--she heard it and just knew she had to sing it. She is, at this point just going with her passions and her instinct. Which, almost paradoxically, will increase her fan base.

Few singers of any age would dare include a song like River in such a young, boisterous audience. Yet here´s Grace! She approaches them, sits almost among them, a million hands trying to touch her, her guitar, her dress. And she never loses the emotion this song conveys. You can feel even the religious tone in her, the repentance, the pathos, when inches from her another world is screaming at the top of their lungs. So impressive! And this genius, once her song is over, she stands up, her beautiful face still serious and concentrated, turns her back to them, goes to have a sip of water... and two seconds later, she turns around and faces her young crowd with a winning, shining smile. She has just introduced her fans to the appreciation of feelings other than the ones they´re used to listening to!

Man, sitting on the stage her body language says that she's done well and adapted to the drastic life changes she's experienced by becoming a young and super talented artist that has worlds of potential because her singing/songwriting is way beyond her years and it's incredible, considering her age especially, how beautifully raw this girl's vocals are already just leaves me in awe.
