Right now my favourite Grace song is Stray followed by Insane Sometimes and Light the Sky. Most of the letters vol 1 ep songs are up there with the best of the rest. If someone said you could only listen to one Grace song ever again, I would have to choose this. It is indispensable.

I need a friend like grace, I love her. She's so proud of how different she is, she doesn't try to be someone else. It's not like she's made in a factory, exactly the same as everyone else. And then there's her pure talent, she's incredible. Someone to be different with, someone genuine. Forever hoping I guess.

When she did this on AGT I thought it won the whole thing for her. A stunning crowd-pleaser for a 12-year old to pull off on national TV.

I used to write songs when I was very little. Lots of people told me someone as young as me couldn't write a proper song. And I got bullied for doing it. Then I stopped. As years went on, singing and songwriting was my passion, but I just couldn't do it. I grew anxiety and was very, very sad for a bit. Grace Vanderwaal is one of the most amazing emerging talents I have seen/heard for a long time. I love her songs - they're so original and catchy. To have written and performed so many at her age is astounding. Every song is so special and leave you feeling uplifted or moved. She is a real, raw talent and I hope she never loses her uniqueness as she grows.
