@@Calers-gu1ib really? I'm 40 and a big life long Bowie fan. He always war costumes....he did less of the subtle gender bending stuff....less over the top. I mean I wouldn't call his performance attire subdued, ya know? More subdued than his earlier shows and performance.....how late past ziggy stardust was his appearance in the film labyrinth? I convinced he just brought his own costume and wardrobe....he probably thought nothing of that codpiece looking par of pants he has on.

This is mine and my older sisters song and I love her so much, i cry every time I hear this song because we do all of those things. Even though I'm in middle school and she is already in her masters at college in a different area, we talk all the time. And I am so happy that she is coming home next week for thanksgiving! I haven't seen her in 5 months.... I am in choir at my school now for the first time....just like how she was as a kid...and I always went to her concerts... My first concert of the year was last month...but because of school.. she missed it..... but now she's coming home!!! and that's what all matters!!! And now she can meet my best friend, and I guarantee they will be best friends too because my sister's best friends name is abby and I swear everyone in my house calles my friend baby Abby because she is just like her. Omg! When she's speaks her voice is so small and soft but when she is singing she start to rocked the stage especially this song , the song is really meaningful and beautiful it make me start crying she love her sister very much and this song is for her sister that's so beautiful Grace you are a "Beautiful thing" I'm proud of you Grace!

Grace is better than most people. Her voice is so elegant, yet a little raspy. It makes her sound jaw-dropping.

I can't help but cry every time i hear this song. This sweet little bean could have sung and used her voice for so many different songs. Instead she decides to sing about the love of her sister. That's one of the reasons that i cry. The other is because this is how i feel about my best friend. This song has a very deep meaning to me. It is my new favorite song. I love Grace,she is so amazing. Sorry for the little rant thing. Needed to get that out there.

Relatable. My dad died when I was 3 months. My mum did all her best to spend countless hours with me. She didn’t even do the things that she knew could mess up our lives. She sheltered me. Protected me. Loved me. I couldn’t thank her enough. She’s the reason why I still live. She works at home,she doesn’t even let herself get overworked all because she wanted to have time for me. ❤️

My god, is no one completely in awe of her affinity for music? Especially the last few seconds of the closing riff, which is so beautiful.

Grace is a gift. What did we do to deserve her?

One of the things I love about her is she's so young and so talented that she articulates the purest forms of childhood. She's not in any rush to grow up and write songs about boyfriends or heartbreak. Instead, her songs are about learning she doesn't have to fit in, they're about her friends and her older sister. They're as pure as she is.

What a beautiful, lasting tribute to Grace V’s older sister! Her sister must be more than elated hearing this song and watching this video! My own eyes wells each time I watch this! What a gifted songwriter-singer this kid is!❤️❤️❤️

Holy crap.. I can't stop the tears... Someone HELP. But in all seriousness, this relates because my sister was suicidal, "you're are a beautiful thing" she didn't think she was pretty enough, she thought no one would love her. This song just relates in a way I can't describe.. "Even when the weather is low" that's like saying that everything is gloomy. And almost losing her to a 'contagious cancer'... I just... "Without you here I am boring" to think if she really went away.... "And it makes me myself" truly without her, I wouldn't be the person I am today.. "You and me, together. We'll forget what we have been told" we have both been bullied brutally... "You'd say don't cry it's all gonna be alright" right now, I'm having trouble trying to keep myself together, she's trying to be there for me but truth is.... I really do want to give in to this 'contagious cancer', and let it all go.. I guess it's my turn to try and survive..

Her songs bring tears into my eyes. Tears of sadness, joy, and knowledge that I can do anything. She’s the whole reason I started to play the Ukulele, and started a YT channel. This girl deserves so much more recognition, she isn’t the next Taylor Swift, she’s the first Grace VanderWaal. ♥️

I do believe this is my favorite song of hers. She is an amazing young woman and I am happy for her for all she has achieved in her very young life. I hope she always remembers this time in her life when both young and old loved her for exactly the way she was. She was true to herself and it showed in her music. I hope she can always keep that side of her alive in her music.
