What an intelligent woman, not surprised that such a unique & strong musician is also a talented visual artist.

This woman is a Inspiration and I admire her,, just by listening to her you can tell she speaks her mind and from the heart & there's nothing phoney about her , and I enjoy listening to her interviews because you can most certainly tell she is very intelligent and content with her life, and a lot a thing's she is saying I can relate to and understand, and once again you can tell she is content and happy, which I would call the last chapter of your journey through life because she's over 50 like myself,, 👍🏻

Grace, you made the interviewer look good by your snappy and honest answers! You also showed patience that I think most people being interviewed by what seemed to be a 8th grader would have stopped and walked out on! You are the definition of "Real"

the interviewer has no idea of Grace Slick as someone in that period she researched her to know about her at that level the interviewer did a great job as Grace Slick respected in response - she had a good spirit about her

Rainbowrider JT Totally agree!! How an interviewer like that ever got an audience with her is a mystery. She had never seen her art nor seemed to know much a out her - weird! But Grace is so polite and handled it so well.

@@btpuppy2 but in a way, that worked, insofar as the tired old bs questions about the sex, drugs and rock and roll of the 60s, weren't so obligatory, here. Grace was very graceful.

Very true about the interviewer, but you have to admit that the interviewer WAS well-prepared. She was probably really really nervous...

I didn't see anything wrong with the interviewer. Cut people some slack. He made Grace come up with some interesting answers. So her role as an interviewer was well played.

Grace has a beautiful smile when she lets it happen! I do admire that "keeping it real" quality about herself-it's there in every interview I see. I admire that in the earlier interview she is not ashamed to mention that she thinks God is part of what she does. Very interesting, funny, direct, honest, at times self-effacing, and multi-faceted human being!

@ Michael O. Grace is cool, real and smart. Tom Petty also said something similar about God being a part of what he does.

Sobriety sometimes brings out the bitter in you because you are pissed about all the stuff you didn't do and the people and things you lost to drugs and drink. If you can get past all that, sobriety shows who you really are deep down. Grace seems to have come out the other side as a really patient nice person. We're both about the same age and have found our good self of being sober. I don't remember what I did, but a friend said "You are so kind." I looked around, "You're talking about me?" I don't think of myself as kind. I noticed two things about Grace I never saw before. Humility and a bit of self-deprecation. The humility is nice; it fits. But, the latter is undeserved.

There's a difference between people from LA/Southern California and the SF Bay Area. In LA, we say 'factors.' In the Bay Area, they say 'aspects.'

IMHO she confuses rock and roll with pop music. The young at heart like Lux Interior from the Cramps for example could have keep on forever, if humans were immortal, as well as many others.
