Yeah honestly even the melody doesnt work with different lyrics. A song about sneaking into your bfs house to kiss him one last time before you die has a VERY different vibe than "I'm gonna lose my virginity if it's the last thing I do"

As many other people mentioned, the dance scene was a bit awkward. I know the person who made the video will most likely never see this comment, but it could have been made better by it being a dance including both Veronica and JD.
