Every time I hear Grace Potter sing I feel like there just isn't a blues song or rock song that's capable of fully utilizing her vocal talent

That Gracie's a little badass, ain't she? She sure has a voice that was made for the Blues. This was a nice surprise today.

I love Zeppelin. Her vocal energy just blew me away. My god, chills down the spine.

Kind of recently, I stumbled upon the Cortez the Killer cover with Joe Satriani. I had to reevaluate my whole life, to figure out why I have not been listening to Grace Potter. That cover is one of the best songs I have ever listened too. So I have been trying to find all thing Grace Potter to listen to, since Cortez.

Wow! She's just so casual, relaxed and then all hell breaks loose! My mind got blown away by her sultry singing and her impressive slide playing! Highly impressed! Now excuse me why I go look for my mind that was blown away it hasn't returned!

Based on what she does here, her slide playing is not impressive, it's extremely basic rhythm playing. She's in an open tuning and just playing the chords, or notes, by barring the slide across all the strings. She's not doing any single note runs or anything else, like a real slide player. It's decent rhythm playing, solid and tight, bur anyone who plays half decent can do what she's doing with about 5 minutes of practice.

Grace Porter ‘s taking of the Led Zep’s ‘whole lotta love’ to a whole new level with slide guitar playing thrown in for good measure.

That is how to take a classic and make it your own! From the bluesy slide to the fuzzy bass to her vocals, it was like a new song!

People tend to overuse the phrase talented and beautiful, but my god, woman. Love this arrangement and the fuzz on the bass.

Grew up on Zeppelin. Outstanding cut Grace! You'll never grow old with Rock & Roll. I'm 72 but feel 27.

this is absolutely amazing, fresh and authentic. Congratulations from Catalonia, Spain. You have made a sad 40-year-old math teacher, who once played in a bogguie group, want to play the electric guitar again (I only play the acoustic guitar now) and sing without shame. Thank you.

I remember seeing Grace and the Nocturnals, several years ago, great show, and years later, Ive gotten older and Grace stays eternally young and brimming with talent

So impressed that I drove to Little Rock to see y’all the following night. My wife and I were outside before the show and got to meet you while you were walking “Kick”. Needless to say, we were more impressed with you offstage than on and have been fans ever since. I do miss the sound of the original Nocturnals lineup. You guys really had something special. A result of hard work and dedication, raw talent and God-given ability, a blessing and a curse. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to see y’all back then and remain grateful to you for sharing so much of your life through such great songs. Great music always inspires reinterpretation but this song has always been a tall order. It is more about capturing fire and passion than technique or variation on themes. There are probably 10 million guitarists in the world who could shred this into oblivion and vocalists who can cover it but how do we bring the raw emotive power, angst and yearning of Whole Lotta Love to the surface in a fresh way and also keep it authentic? She really owned this song and gave it new life much as Hendrix did with "All Along The Watch Tower" or SRV did with "Little Wing". A true interpretation, not a cover. This performance has real artistic integrity. Grace is now on my Essential Listening list. Thanks
