In the "best of Utah" meet vault warm up she (Kara) missed the horse with her hand and landed funny spraining her ankle. Tom carried her off the floor and past my seat, by the look on his face, you could see how much he loves and cares for these women. Good news is that she will be back soon. #GOUTES #L22L

I honestly feel sorry for the former Olympic prospects that enter collegiate. They were discovered by an adult that could pick out a child from a group of 100. They were taught extra classes. They did all the work. They became very very good. Some of them became monumental to the sport. Some of them dropped out but still dominated collegiate. Some of them dropped out completely but I almost guarantee they became very successful at something else. The eyes of the audience are painted on these collegiate Olympic phenoms. They continue to face immense pressure as they mature from a child into womanhood. Their are others on the floor who think they are just as good or better. Collegiate is really where you discover the greatest in the sport.

Overall opinion Vault- overscored tbh, I hate the flexed feet and it wasn’t a stick, I would go 9.85 Bars- is it just me or has her cast handstands always been super weird? Like she always used her hips and like almost bends her knees? But solid routine for sure, just a bit of form on the handstands and flexed feet plus the landing (u can see the cast handstand thing at 0:27, she like kinds bends her legs and bounces off of her hips it’s so weird) I always noticed this in her elite bars routines and hopes she begins to focus more on form and basics in college Beam- very solid routine except for the little hesitation in her switch leap to stag, but I would have given it a 9.9 Floor- 9.975?? At least it wasn’t just OU getting ridiculously close to 10, it was a great routine but I think it’s closer to a 9.925 in my opinion I think beam is graces best event so far, and hopefully gymnasts stop getting bigger scores just bc they are more well known in the sport

@@robertjames1087 Having numerous built in deductions proves your point wrong. Gymnasts like Trinity from Florida, Natalie from Michigan, Maile from Utah, Luisa from Alabama, etc. are much better all around gymnasts because they all have picture perfect form on all events. Grace has flexed feet, bent legs, and relatively sloppy form. Even if she sticks vault she shouldn’t ever get a ten because of her form. Grace is a good gymnast, but she is certainly not the best all around gymnast in NCAA right now.
