Fascinating to hear such stories. How different artists meet and influence one another. So cool to hear her recollections on Shirley Bassey, Callas, Milanov, Aretha and Dionne.

This interview reminds me of my childhood and just warmed my soul! I needed this. I love the way she spoke about the importance of "The Rests" and how she needed to bring the audience in during those times. I also love how she was a singers singer and loved by them! Matt really did his homework. I love when people know their lane and allow the artist to speak! #bravo and #brava!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I love to hear her say that Laura is easy. Listening to and watching her sing Laura, you can tell that the part is so easy for her that she's almost (probably not almost) bored with the part.
