The bowl ornament topiary is not a new idea, i first saw it on the "Your House a Home" channel a couple of years ago. I modified the design and instead of stacking the bowl ornaments, I bought 12 bowls and made 6 individual " extra large lighted ornaments. They go on my stairs every year.

It's new to some people, like new crafters. Do you mean you made 6 single ornaments for your stairs? I have seen that with fake snow, greenery w/ berries, smaller ornaments, & decor theme items inside & lit garland ran thru it hanging from rails.

It's not all that easy the bowls crack. I've been just stacking my bowls adding lights inside but I really do love the idea of it and have seen a few videos of how to make them.

Tape the bowl centers with masking tape before you start drill'n punch'n that center hole... To Stop the crack'n....

She used her glue gun (the hot tip) to melt through & make a circular opening.

​@@les9058if you use a drill but I would put masking tape on both sides of bowl to help keep it from splitting

Way too much work for the Burch logs, the rest is great!

Why not use real birch logs. Quicker, reusable and won't be ruined by snow. You can get them at craft stores, grocery, garden centers or order online. 🤦
