    It made no sense, but, a lot of what she said made no sense. She also said she was struggling and doing just fine. Those are opposites. How can they both exist in the same sentence. You can’t get over a situation like that unless you come to terms with the truth which is simply that the mother is primarily responsible. The sooner she can acknowledge the truth, the better off she’ll be.

  • @Bayouma777

    @Bayouma777

    Exactly! The last case is the most tragic because one man was previously tested; Judge Lake had her staff obtain those results and that man was not the father. Now neither of the two men that Judge Lake had tested is the father either. So now this young woman, whose mom has already passed, STILL does not know who is her biological father! Now that her mother is deceased and neither of the men that the twin sister knew of is the father, chances are very slim that she will ever find out now who is her biological father! For the adult children that DO find out that the man tested IS their biological father, they can be upset with the father (and the mother), and they have a right to be, but at least they have the opportunity to be mad, forgive their parents, and get to know their biological fathers (and his side of their family) as long as the man is alive. They should at least be grateful for that!

    She needs someone to vent that anger to. Her mum’s dead so it all went to her dad. I just hope they’re eventually able to get to know each other and have a relationship. The same thing happened in my family. My grandmother hid her pregnancy from my grandfather and my dad spent his entire childhood and some of his teenage years being raised by someone he thought was his dad (but wasn’t). My great-aunt ran into my grandfather when he returned from years abroad and told him he had a son. He confronted my grandmother and tried to start a relationship with my dad that did not go well with my dad’s stepfather, but eventually, my dad had two dads and a mum (he accepted both dads). I never had a relationship with my dad’s stepfather, but my biological grandfather was my world. We were so close. I loved my bio grandfather and he loved me till the day he died (which was beyond devastating for me). I hope this lady’s kids can have the kind of relationship I had with my bio grandfather with theirs

And truthfully, you never really get over a parents death. She now is grieving the loss of her father figure, and grieving the fact that her father figure wasn’t even her bio dad. That is an immense amount of emotional distress going on. Of course she’s going to feel betrayed. Maybe her anger and sadness was taken out on the wrong person, but there is no way she would’ve just welcomed him with open arms. 35 years and she’s only ever known one man to be her father. There’s really not a reality where she wouldn’t have broken down and rejected her bio father. And she has every right to not claim him despite their relations.
