What a journey these projects took me on! Thanks for going on it with me! IF you enjoyed this video I know you will love this one! kzread.info/dash/bejne/kZt7pMeuqMTcYrQ.html
Hi Catherine! It takes a little practice to feel confident with the blocks. My first time didn’t go too well. I use dots of both white glue and hot glue. That seems to hold the best. I also reinforce inside seams with the hot glue. It definitely takes time and patience. I loved your domino holders. They turned out great and I can image how useful they will be. Don’t give up! Try some more and you will be surprised how cool they are to work with. Thanks for the shout out. Hugs friend! 🥰🤗

I tried both but then realized can't necessarily mix them has to be the separate dots the gorilla wood glue will work but you just have to hold them together firmly for awhile which is where the separate dots of hot glue come in handy
I love the super glue wood glue. I get it in the automotive section at my dollar tree. I have always used it on tower blocks. Like another subscriber, I use a brush to apply. I have better control of how much glue and where I put it.

Thanks for sharing!! What type of brush do you use to apply it on there? I will pick some of that up and give it a try!
It took forever for me to get comfortable using the tumbling tower blocks, i use the gorilla glue, but just a little. And wipe the excess with a baby wipe, also let it sit for a bit before moving on. I never use hot glue because it can leave gaps and not hold as well! Keep up the good work, you have some great ideas!
Look at Bonnie blings tower block diys it’s awesome. Her voice overs aren’t my favorite but her work is great

The Best Glue to use is Elmer's Glue-All Extra Strong Formula, it dries fast its safe & Non-Toxic, I have used it on all my DYIS Tumbling Tower Block Projects
I bought needle nose squeeze bottles from Hobby Lobby---six in a package---and wrapped maskin tape around 2-3 of the little squeeze bottles. One says wood glue and another says craft glue and one says super glue. The plastic cap for the tiny needle nose is attached to the bottle so it never gets lost. I use the wood glue from the tiny bottle all the time because I can control the flow. I love paper crafts and also do quilling and Iris Folding. The tiny bottle works so well when just a speck if glue is needed. Try it out. The little bottles are about the size of a lipstick. Happy Crafting!
I just love you. You are the first KZread creator that I have seen that shows her flaws. But I have used the Elaines tacky glue. It works great.
Look for the dollar tree wood glue in the automotive section. I Clint find it ever and I went down that aisle and bam! It was there!

Thank you for that tip! I went and did find it in the auto section. I am totally going to try that for the next time!
Any wood glue will do, the trick is to give it time to set up before trying to move it. You’re just getting in a rush because I think you are nervous. You’ll get it, just give it time. You also should not quit wiggling hot glue touch, just like in the 6000 can’t touch. I’ve never had good luck with hot glue and tumbling tower blocks. I just get a mess they don’t go together well.Hang in there! 🥰

I have picked up some other options and am going to give it another try! Thanks so much for watching and for the advice!
I always have to order a case from their website. It’s free to ship to the store. My Dollar Tree has the wood glue, but it’s more cost effective to buy it by the gallon or larger bottles. It’s better to not bother with the hot glue, cold wood glue is the best for these blocks. Once the hot glue got wet with the wood glue it cooled it down and reversed the intended reaction. Wood Glue is the best for the blocks by far!! Try it with just the cold wood glue and I promise the outcome will be much better.
Use a very small amount out wood glue, no special brand, and be patient 😊it doesn’t dry instantly. Glue your pieces together & let it sit or clamp them together for a tighter bond.

I'm for sure an impatient crafter. (haha) But I will try this for the next time. Thank you for the tips
Howdy, I enjoyed this for your experimenting bravely. I am thinking to try to start a carving for challenged persons channel, so you are great encouragement. I wish you luck. I will be back 😊.
I love DT's wood glue. I have found that I have better results when I glue the entire thing at once. You are able to see instantly if the blocks work together. Also any glue left on the blocks won't take the paint well. I run a sanding block over it.

I use Aleene's wood glue. It works great. I have been working with the Tumbling Tower Blocks for a little over a year, and I love working with them.
I use dollar tree tacky glue and it works amazing on the dollar tree tower blocks
I just went and bought 26 boxes of these things for my mom 😂
Hello, I use Elmer's GLUE ALL when I'm gluing things together & I haven't had any problem using it yet on any of the projects that I've made with these Tumbling Tower Blocks. You might want to pick some up & give it a try. Hope this helps you out Adele
I'm so glad u have problems to with wood projects me too
I couldn't find the DT wood glue once. I asked an associate who brought some out from the back. I bought several.
I order my blocks online and do ship to store . No shipping cost if you do it that way. I find the wood glue in auto area in my store. Get a carpenter square it helps.

The Best Glue to use is called......... Elmer's GLUE - ALL Extra Strong Formula ........It works by far much better then anything else that I have found out there, make sure that you do not buy just the reg. old ELMER'S GLUE, it has to be the GLUE ALL Adele Somewhere in West Michigan

I have never noticed the Glue All. I will for sure be keeping my eye out for that!
I've used Elmers Glue with wood clothes pins. Couldn't pry them apart. You're gonna get gaps because not all blocks are the same size. i fill in with glue, then paint.
They still carry the wood glue. I like titebond wood glue

Less is more with the gorilla wood glue and tumbling tower blocks...it just takes about 10 minutes for the glue to set enough to move on with your project, no hot glue needed.
Hi there... I love the projects. I would use less wood glue and use a brush to spread it onto both pieces you will be sticking togethor. Also, when using both hot glue and wood glue try to not let them touch each other because they will cancel each out. Also, I like both gorilla wood glue as well as the super glue wood glue at the dollar tree. Dollar tree also has wood glue in the craft section also...I dont like it at all. Thanks for the inspiration...

Hi there, the superglue brand wood glue will be on the automotive isle at the dollar tree. And I use a small, cheap paintbrush for spreading the glue. I actually try to use the little red ones that come in kids dyi kits so I can just throw it away instead of cleaning the glue out of the brush. You can clean it though if you wanted to. Fun visiting with you. Have a great weekend!!!

Wood glue is in automotive dept.
Use wood glue with super glue in it
I use gorilla glue all the time u just have to let it dry a while
Use an L ruler to make them straight. I use a small tipped bottle dispenser from michaels so it has less glue that comes out at once and I found that worked better. My first one came out looking like that too. It happens
