We finally got a dollar tree plus in Florida where I live! And I love every single one of your projects! I like the galvanized one because it will go great with the colors I am redoing in my kitchen my cabinets will be a gray color, so that will match perfectly on the wall! I love how pretty and easy the projects were. I think the water color paint around the butterfly was really cool. Muting it is the only thing I would have done. Or, possibly used pink rather than green. Love the technique. Hugs Catherine! 🥰🤗

When she added it to the little fence, it looked adorable! I tend to think of these tutorials more as inspiration to build my own ideas. Everyone has their own taste, so you just tweak it to please yourself and your home.

Oh I think that colorful butterfly that you didn't think turned out nice I think it's beautiful

Our local dollar tree stores do not have a plus section. They hardly carry the basic crafting DIY supplies needed to recreate some of these videos I watch on you tube. I love watching you create and the inspiration I get from watching you. I will make some crafts I will just have to alter the items used. Thank u for sharing all of your creative, lovely DIYS

For the longest time we only had one Dollar Tree and it never had anything. Then all of a sudden we now have 4! I have noticed that some have more things than others. I don't understand why they can't all just carry the same things. Thanks for being here! I'm so glad you found some inspiration.

I love the mason jars! I would display them in my math classroom.❤😊 I haven't seen those in the Dollar Tree Plus section in my area.

I do love that butterfly, but I don’t know that I would have chosen yellow for the background. I liked your attempts to create contrast. I think you were on the right path. If you do try again, please post it. (I think it would pop on a medium gray/brown or a blue background !)

Oh, you could have put more yellow using the same technique on top of the outline. I did get some inspiration! Thank you. I guess I thought watercolor wouldn’t stay, like water based paint.

It took a LONG time to get the plus section in our stores, so I was thrilled when we did finally get it. I have purchased some of the items, but not a ton. I only get something I must have or something I feel is a good deal. I prefer the $3 items, it seems. I spend enough in the other sections of DT that I don't want to over-do it on more expensive items. I liked your tin sign and the yellow wood butterfly sign. I would have kept it all yellow, though. T4S! 💐💐💐

Wish we had the $ tree here in Aus.

We live in Florida & STILL don't have a plus section in any of my stores locally. I'd have to drive 30 minutes away. I just went through cancer & don't have the energy for all of that lol. I wish they'd just put 1 in my city. I love all of your projects. Good ideas & I thought they were so pretty.

If I use buttons I always take thread and sew through it like I’m actually applying it to clothing. I think it looks silly without it, but that’s just my humble opinion. My pet peeve. lol

My primary store doesn’t have dollar tree plus. A couple others close enough to me sometimes have a few plus items but none of the stores closest to me have a fully stocked plus section. I did really like the kitchen measurements sign and if I could find the items I would definitely make it.

In my Southern CA area, my favorite store is now full of "Plus" items and I think many of them are over-priced. And now there are many items I was used to buying that are no longer there. It looks, too, as if prices are going to go up on many items, like beauty items from $1.25 to $3.

The prices are definitely going up. They're actually installing price scanners so customers can check the prices of items. I used to go to DT 2 or 3 times a week because it helped me save a lot of money on cleaning supplies, etc. Not anymore.

@@Nigelsmom2136 I don't go to DT as often, either and I guess I could figure I'm saving even more money as I'm not seeing/buying things I really don't need! Fortunately for me we have the 99, where some things are now a better deal. I don't need a lot of cleaning products - I order big jugs of vinegar and big boxes of baking soda from Walmart.

I have also found Dollar General to have cheaper prices than the Dollar Tree. I wish we had a 99 cent store in our area. I have shopped at one in California and loved it. I live in a small place with not a lot of options.

I noticed at my Dollar Tree there are things that are $1.75 now. I have found cheaper things at Dollar General lately. It is certainly not the cheapest place anymore.

Im in a small town and our DT has maybe 10% of what I see used on videos. I always stop by any that are in other towns for goodies. We rarely have just the candle stick holders. Mostly just the basic things.

I also live in a small town. We just got a new Dollar Tree and I was excited to go to that one but it is not stocked very well. I find that it is a hit and miss kind of thing for me. Sometimes i just luck out and find things or it is several months later that it shows up in my store.

No Plus section, just maybe a half aisle in seasonal. I'm in Nevada.

Maybe Try the shadowing on the left side and the bottom only

Will these all stay glued on without modpodge? I always thought you had to modpodge over stickers.

These will stay on because they are ment to be hung on walls and have a sturdier sticky background. You could always add mod podge if you wanted to or felt it needed it. I did add some to the last project because it was not sticking to the rough wood very well.

I live in Vancouver, Washington (close to Portland, Oregon) and NONE OF OUR LOCAL DT locations (I've checked every single store within 100 miles of me) have a PLUS! SECTION. Not sure when or if we'll get PLUS! at any of the stores near me. When I've asked management at my favorite store here, she had no clue either :(

I love Vancouver! One of my favorite places on Earth. I live in the desert so I just love all the green. I took a vacation to British Colombia when I was a teenager. Loved it ever since. How strange that none would have a plus section. I really thought they had rolled them out to all the stores by now. That is a real bummer

What kind of paint did u use in the frame?

We have a 1/2 isle of plus section but Im disappointed that most of the plus items look really cheap and bad quality.

I am disappointed that they are raising prices on things to the point where they're installing price scanners. IMHO they've ruined a good thing due to corporate greed. I looked in the $5 aisle for a mop bucket I saw last week. They didn't have any left so I ended up going to Dollar General. Found the bucket I wanted for the same $5 price. I used to go to DT 2-3 times a week. Not anymore, I'm sad to say.

I totally agree with that. I have found things at Dollar General that are the same price or cheaper. I think some of the quality at Dollar General is better as well.

Those mason jar stickers are in my dollar trees regular craft isle for 1.25 and i do have a plus section but they scanned 1. 25 for me wierd..

I thought the butterfly was cute.

I live in Longview Washington and ours doesn't have a $5 section.

I do have the plus section in my $Tree but everything’s always picked over and some of the items I see on DIYs aren’t ever there😢. On another note how can I make good bows mine come out awful all the time.

The bow i made in this project is just a piece of ribbon that I folded over and pinched in the middle and tied with some jute string. Someone who makes beautiful bows is Olivia's Romantic Home. She has several tutorials on just bow making. Also my friend Nadia from DIY with Nadia creates wreaths and uses a bow maker. They are pretty inexpensive on Amazon.

I do have 2 dollar tree store but they are so so dirty and no organized at all I wish someone help with this problem When I go there I had commented and the cashier answered are that the costumers are the problem they live every thing everywhere it is true But I see the manager standing up outside smoking so I’m very afraid to say anything. Some of the employees are looking at their phones and not working. I see many of this videos and I see the store look nice and organized. I wish I can have one nice and clean close by. I live in Fairfax Va

That large bow doesn’t do a thing for that cute piece. Make a smaller “messy” bow perhaps. Just not that checked one. Ewe.

I have three DT in my area and together they don’t have have the stuff to make a third of these projects it’s really disappointing to watch these any of these DIY DT channels😤

Ours has bonus items, but they are scattered throughout the store and you don't know how much anything is anymore, I DO NOT like DT anymore, they need to change their name since they are no longer a DT store. And mine, I live with 7+ stores in my area and they all suck, they have nothing like other states stores. I have emailed them several times and the do not respond back.
