It definitely has a steampunk look to it. I was also thinking that it wouldn't look too far out of place in Disneyland Paris, if they ever wanted to provide Space Mountain a companion coaster.

Holy moly, Gröna Lund has been COOKING! That Vekoma looks incredible. Frankly I wish we could get even a bit of this creativity at Tivoli Gardens. We havent had a major new ride in over a decade, our last new roller coaster was 20 years ago, and the only new ones since have been exact replicas of the older ones they replaced.

The already impressive come back of Vekoma is getting even more impressive year after year. What a redemption!

I worked there before but haven’t in a few years but I might need to go back, get that job back and investigate this more, I’M SO EXCITED 😱 Finally Gröna Lund can expand!

Absolutely love Grona Lund!! Easily the best park in Sweden and excited to see such a large and detailed expansion. Also, that park is the best in Europe to get to, from, and around on a Bird/Lime e-scooter

Liseberg has better rides, but gröna lund is in a better location

I really hope their Jetline coaster will reopen, this would make a great top 3 with monster and their new vekoma !

I love parks that compress many things into small areas.

I am seriously loving Vekoma these days. They have gone from my most hated manufacturer to top 3 for me, and B&M have gone from my top to barely top 10. Amazing how things can change.

Wow. Like..wow I would make a trip there for this park.

Gröna Lung is such a beautiful park that blows my mind with how compact everything is, this new addition looks absolutely awesome.

the flat ride in the near center is 100% a Zaperela GRYPHON just look at the center and the arms!! I am soooo exited to see the construction updates on this because it looks so compact!

I really hope this goes through planning! I have a friend who lives in Stockholm so I get to visit this park once again.

Oh man that looks fantastic. I know it's just concept art but I love the theme and color palette they're going with.

I completely forgot about the expansion and the new concept art is really cool. The coaster looks like a lot of fun. The first flat you mentioned looks like a Zamperla Gryphon. The green oval roof building could be for bumper cars. The catwalk is throwing me off though.

Definitely would expect this to take longer than 2 years

Hope Worlds Of Fun or one of the smaller Cedar Fair parks get one of these, this could be a real game-changer if they managed to get their hands on this. Go Vekoma!

The track in that trebuchet launch teaser from last year perfectly lines up with this concept art, I think this will be very representative of the final launch speed of the actual thing.

The green mystery building looks like a ride to me. Perhaps Dodgems or some sort of Waltzer or Whip?

This looks awesome love new gen Vekoma Lech Coaster, F.L.Y, Fonix, Formula, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind and Hals uber Kopf. I would prefer before this project starts to fix up both Twister and clarify whats happening with Jetline whether its done or not.

The coaster looks great, but the overall concept is so beautiful and fits so well. If they keep 80% of the concept art it will still be phantastic.

I really want another Vekoma Fly coaster, the first one was so good.

I'm really digging the theme that they are going with. It's almost like somewhere between Victorian/Steampunk, and the Future-That-Never-Was. Also, who else wishes that most parks were designed this way, where they treat every square inch like the prime real estate it is? Very efficient! I'm kind of hoping that it is a quick launch into what I can best describe as a somersault loop. Unless the restraints/seats are really comfortable (not a bad thing for any ride anyways), hanging upside down with minimal acceleration can be VERY uncomfortable for ANY amount of time. Learned that the hard way one time on an Inverter fair ride. Nearly crushed my balls! NEVER AGAIN!!!

On the first floor of the building at 3:25 we can actually see two objects that may be some kind of pods or gondolas - so there might even be another flat ride!? Maybe someling like a modern take on the whip? (Totally wild guess obvsl.)

I’m from Stockholm and I’ve worked at Gröna Lund and I’m pretty sure they are going to bring back the bumper cars! When they removed the old ones several years back, there was a lot of backlash and I think they’re meaning to put them back in. So my guess is they’re coming back and seem to be amazingly themed🙌🏻

I’m still curious for what their plans are for Jetline. If they removed it and built a new roller coaster perhaps an intamin blitz. Then Gröna Lund might get their ”signature” ride.

This is super cool but I don't think this will open before 2028, probably more like 2030. I was there last week and from what I could see they haven't even started yet. They probably haven't gotten all permits finished yet, they probably haven't finished ground testing and gotten their "detaljplan" approved. If we're lucky they might start construction next year.

Gröna Lund is still investigating the cause of the accident and will not determine its fate until they know why it happened.

This coaster looks world class, i'm predicting around 2026/27 it'll open.

Ride it in the first two years after opening.. after that it'll be another Vekoma back-breaker...

2027 would be perfect need to go back to scandinavia anyway and thats the first year i really get time for it. if its 2026 that would even be better most of the really busy crowds should be gone then in 2027. But the coaster looks a lot better then abyssus can't wait to try it out.

Did i spot a vekoma junior boomerang there aswell??

That concept art looks like AI to me. Maybe it isn´t meant as definitive plans but more like trying to capture the vibe. I mean that the coaster and other rides may or may not be anything like on these concept pictures

As a Gröna Lund fanboy and ex ride-operator at the park, my exitment and antecipation for this amazing expansion is thru the roof!! I can't wait for this to be done and I want to be one of the first to step foot in this new land!! Wish I could have a time machine and go ride this freaking roller, it's the icon that Gröna Lund always needed! (not to mention how big of an icon Monster is to me) But to sumon my comment up, I'm crying happy tears because it will happen and I'm thankful for this video 🎢🎡 Edit: and yet again I'm left abandoned behind the dumpsters behind Gröna lund. I'm not an attention seeker, I'm just like the other commenters...Just feels sad not getting likes or any replies 😭
