How does it perform in the summer time, with the vehicle in parked in the sun all day?? Or do we need to put it in glove compartment.

Wouldn't it better to get the HUD that connected to car OBD port compared to the one relying on GPS?

Why didn't they sell one connects to the port instead of cigarette lighter

I bought this but it doesn't really work keeps beeping every 2 seconds I can't even set the speed warning as it keeps resetting

Works great in my planes.

The gel mount will melt into your dash.

Will this work for motorcycle?

Generally all gps speedometers update once every second do to the way they calculate the average time between two positions

I m just bought but work for km how to reset to mph

Anyone know of a projected Heads up display unit that shows the speed in km/h, speed limit in km/h, GPS navigation directions, and ideally additional info for instance low fuel warning, lane departure info, reverse cam vision, or other things?

Where is the "gps" part?

the GPS is only used for determining the speed. There are also HUDs that include GPS navigation but not this one

Why someone can't make a portable wireless one of these that you can charge when not driving I will never understand. Oh well. Also, if it's going to be wired, a cam with traffic sign recognition would be so useful.

It may (or may not) be legal to sell those devices, but it's illegal to use them in Australia.

its perfectly legal and being sold in Australia by supercheap auto, also many modern cars come out with them as a factory standard. :) might even buy one for myself haha

Are you serious, almost all vehicles come standard with these kinds of speedometer displays today, from Hyundia's to BMW's. Please get your facts straight before posting and misleading people. I have one of these GPS head Up Displays, it's amazing, I wouldn't drive without it, no tickets for me, as long as I have this unit in my car here in Australia where they are absolutely legal, in fact I cannot imagine why you'd think they weren't, after all, they're a safety feature and so much easier to see than a dial type speedometer.

Given all the distractions in a modern car these require no effort for the brain to process - no need to look down and try to figure out where a needle on a dial is, especially one calibrated for European conditions where key speed indicators are absent. If it works it’s a great concept ...

It's not a jammer of any sort Why can it be illigal? It's a driver assist device not a illigal device
