Led light is supposed to go in spots where it casts down the light onto a surface. Most people stick them anywhere where they are visble. Thats when the diffuser comes into place, you use that when its in a vislbe location. So when you stick the strip under an edge, its perfectly fine to use it without a diffuser

Hi I need help I have same ones but there's no purple and blue and I don't know i good on grovee app and connected so I put blue but it makes green

i bought them and they same day stop working i dont know why but its showing only few leds if someone can help me i need help please

ehm duh... ofcourse it heats up more when its still on the package roll. They can stand the heat, LED is known for getting hot actually.

Cool video, really nice review. Do you know how long is the cable of power connector? I am planning to put them on the wall, so the cable must be slightly longer.

What do I do if I bought the 5m one of this model and I need more and I don’t know if I should buy the 5m again since i have already stuck it on my ceiling and I don’t know if they will sync if I have to get another pack

Do you have any smart speakers? For example Alexa. If you do, you can add more than one GOVEE and.sync them all

Make sure you have the app updated and that you are selecting the correct led strip in the app.

Do the lights charge up or just plug in I’m thinking of putting lights on my jacket when I play sax

You need to have them plugged in to a socket. They do not charge. There are some rgb options for what you want. Just search for battery operated rgb light strips.

Nice review brother. I have a question. Can I put it on the back of my LG OLED C1? As u said they tend to get hot.. so would it damage the OLED TV?

You can see the light reflected on the walls and surfaces of a small room. They get pretty bright. But it really depends on where and how you set them up and also the size of your room.

I do not have the led strip anymore. But if I do recall correctly, it is only suitable for 2.4ghz not for 5

I just tried installing mine but they don’t light up at all? You know what can be the problem

If you have it correctly plugged in, even without the app it will turn on. If it doesn’t turn on then you either have it incorrectly connected, or your wall socket has some issue or you have a defective device.

You can cut the strip as long as you are cutting in the correct section of the strip.

Normally you will see 3 exposed copper connectors along the strip at regular intervals. You can cut the strip there. Then you can either use quick connectors or solder to connect other strips or wire extensions to you strip. Also make sure that if your strip is a water proof version (normally covered with a silicon type material) that you completely and carefully remove it from the copper connectors before connecting other wires or strips.

What I believe is happening is that your phone is detecting and connecting to the led strip controller module but somehow there is not current/signal passing from the module to the led strip. Make sure you haven’t connected the strip the wrong way on the connector. It is almost impossible to connect to connector clip the wrong way around but that could be the issue. If that doesn’t work then you may have a defective unit.

It could eventually detach over time. All you have to do is buy some good 3M double sided tape to attach it back again
