bro recently i purchased samsung crystal 43 inch 4k tv ,but am not able to connect my phone to smart things app its not showing any devices on tv screen ,and all so not showing tv option in phone app? how to solve this
I have the 4D, I gotta say it will change your movie/gaming experience. My only complaint even though Nanoleaf seems to be accurate of them all, it's not that accurate always. It's like 75% accurate, which is 25% percent missing is still a lot. Like a lot! I hope they focus on accuracy.
The Govee G1 strip that uses their desktop app to sync looks great for PC gaming. Some users are reporting issues with the Govee software though.
I have the nano leaf and after looking at others I am very happy with my choice. The camera has a very small footprint when putting it on the bottom and the colour projection is rich and vibrant, especially for gaming. As far as I can tell it has the most customisable options as well. The Hue should be the best device in theory, given Philips basically came up with the “ambilight” concept but the limitation of not being able to use it with everything is a deal breaker for me, all of the thru box style ones for that matter.
Great vid buddy, I already purchased the Govee T2 but before installing it just checking a few tutorial vids and then this comparison vid popped up, looks like my initial research paid off and the Govee is the one, I’m really not bothered by the big camera tbh, waited for Black Friday & picked the 55” version T2 for £89.99 pretty happy I waited 👌

Nanoleaf is the worst option. It looks like a Christmas tree garland.
While i do not want a camera at the top of my TV, the fact that it doesn't go through a box that might not be up to par with HDMI 2.1 and doesn't increase latency, which they all do, some worse than others, and this works with EVERY TV, no matter what brand, no TV app needed etc. and the price is pretty good, i think Govee is the way to go. For me at least. It's most future proof too i guess.
I went for the full Philipps Hue setup: 65" Philipps Ambilight TV, bridge and total 5 hue lamps in my livingroom.. just love how all works perfect together. Costs more but works perfekt.

Hue being number one of course but the Govee is so close to it and covers the bottom portion of the screen with very similar color hues for a fraction of the cost…clear winner. Nanoleaf had a great product on hand but I’m not sure why they didn’t choose to go RGBIC rather than standard RGB lights…the separation of the leds when displaying color are so distracting 😣 not a very clean look. It’s a shame, they almost nailed it! I’m still rocking the T1 over here and smoothness between transitions is still better.
Great vid! :)
If you have the money, the philips hue is the best. GRANTED i will say no 2.1 on sync box is still pretty big negative. But with hue where 1 zone ends and another begins is less obvious. You also can make just about any hue color lights work with it. for example i have a friend who has the Lightstrip + the tube that covers the bottom of the tv, then he puts 2 of the smaller ones you showed in the corner behind floorstanding speakers to the right and left of the TV. AND the room itself is lit by hue light strips in the left and right side and all of these lights sync with the movie light making it a whole room experience. if it wasn't for sync box not being hdmi 2.1 I'd say its the clear winner everytime other than cost.

Lytmi is frustrating as it doesn't work with dual band or 5ghz Wi-Fi signal. Here in the US, most Wi-Fi devices broadcast in dual band. Additionally the corner/side attachment brackets are unsustainable over time and the strips detach after several months of installation. The update having the more extensive tape strips are a solid improvement.

@@heibaimao Hey, I've had this product from Nanoleaf for my 75" tv for about 6 months now. I will say I am still very impressed with this product. I cannot speak for Govee. The main reason I chose Nanoleaf over govee is because I also have a gaming computer and I have heard Nanoleaf's name to be very reputable company and brand. Also, the eco-friendly products with other Nanoleaf systems and lights. Now, Govee does have similar features and products to sync other products on their line. But I have always heard amazing reviews from Nanoleaf. I will also mention that my Nanoleaf App constantly updates their firmware and features. I have an iPhone and I can turn off the light strips with a button or sync it with Alexa, Google, Siri etc. Now going to the actual product itself, the lights are amazing. The colors are phenomenal with the different hues and the calibration is spot on for the corners of the TV to pick up those different shades etc. In the App, I can choose the percentage of how bright I want my lights to be and the 1D - 4D is awesome. I can also do a cinematic mode or a vibrant mode to bring out the really in depth hues. Nothing bad to say about this product. Again, I'm not sponsored nor do I have a Govee product. I just trusted the Nanoleaf brand and their quality products from other consumers and friends. I plan on syncing them with triangle lights and those lines.
@pandaboi57

@@heibaimao I initially chose Nanoleaf because of their reputation amongst their RGB products across multiple platforms. I also have a gaming computer and my other friends have vetted and vouched for Nanoleaf products whether it’s their triangles, lines, and other products. Govee seemed to be a little newer in the RGB community and I haven’t seen too many reviews on their specific TV light strip. Both companies so far have great reviews so no complaints there. Both companies also have eco friendly products meaning you can sync up multiple products within both apps. What I liked more about Nanoleaf is that it was very user friendly and you could use Siri, Alexa, Google, and control the lights through your apps. Some products as mentioned only allows a certain app to control it. I’ve owned this product for 3+ months now and it’s been nothing short of amazing! The Nanoleaf has an easy to use interface with a lot of settings you can set in the app. Also, Nanoleaf is constantly updating their firmware so you know you’re getting the best when it comes to connectivity and fixing small bugs that it may have. The lights are super bright if on 100% and even the low dim settings are nice if that’s your thing. I personally mounted this by myself on my 75” Sony 4K TV in my living room and it does a great job illuminating light on the back walls. The camera I set up is on the top of the TV. I haven’t tried to set up the camera on my tv stand bc it’s not wide enough with my Sony soundbar in the front but no issues with color and hues. I calibrated the Sensor to the 4 corners, not all the way to the edge though. I hope this helps!
I’ve had Phillips hue from day one and couldn’t ever think of moving to a different one the only thing I wish is that Phillips would update there sync box to 120hz with a update or a new sync box for 120hz because the best I can get is between 80hz and a 100hz at best at 4k on my ps5

Little feedback to the review. Should be comparing govee T1 which is at the same price range with nanoleaf 4d though it has been in the market for near 2 years. Anyway govee has just launched 3 lite and it’s worth to compare. Govee has dreamview feature which allow all govee products to immerse with the colour changing on the tv. Govee has about 60+ product sku for you to choose for colour synchronisation. Nanoleaf has about 10 sku I think. The product and company scale is different between Govee and Nanoleaf. I own these 2 products and I am a fan of govee 😊 👍🏼😀

You did a nice job showing the installation for some of the lights, but I would’ve loved to see what the Nanoleaf installation looks like on the back of the TV. You showed us that Govvee doesn’t have corner lights to make it easier to stick on. Does Nanoleaf have that? Based on how you were speaking, it sounded like Govvee does and Nanoleaf doesn’t. Its not even close. You wanna sell me a Goose for 5k then it better shoot out a golden egg every morning and not require me to buy even more stuff to make that happen either. As far as privacy concerns with camera setups....Hello. How are you? Yeah, your entire life is on the web and has been for years. Hi Alex, great video! I was deciding between the Lytmi vs Nanoleaf. I am using a 55" LG C3 TV. Just to check my understanding, the Lytmi uses a HDMI sync box. Would it be right to say that it would compromise the picture / video quality of the TV? I mainly watch shows via the native Netflix / Disney app, and gaming wise only on Nintendo switch. Should this be a consideration? Alternatively will be Nanoleaf which does not have the HDMI sync box. My wife is not keen for the camera, but noted that it could be laid low on the TV console which makes it less conspicuous. Any thoughts on above? Thank you!

Love the hue sync box. Got 3 of them with two bridges. My whole house also uses hue lights. I tried Govee and owned dreamscreen years ago. Govee and dreamscreen are similar. Software sucks and reminds me of android as hue software reminds me of iOS. hardware seems generic for govee other than the box and the back lights aren’t great if you buy a new TV cuz taking them off could damage the LED and at the same time, will not stick on new TV. Colors are brighter on govee but when you are gaming, you dont notice any of it as you aren’t staring at the wall. On top of that, I’ve gone through the experience of these random backlight companies with dreamscreen who just shut down and left customers with a near useless light system. I play with only hue lights on. Got the PC strip behind my 42 inch C2 and two desk top lamps on each side of the table plus two more lights in the back corner of the room all with colored bulbs. Had the ambient light strip for my living room TV since xmas of 2019 and added the others in the past two years and they all still works great with the only issue of having to factory reset when i change WI-FI passwords. Junked the dreamscreen, sold the govee and love the hues.
I have the govee T2, and it doesn't work very well. The camera was too bulky to install on my wall-mounted TV, I had to remove the weight and stick it to the TV edge. Also, my TV console is white, so the camera only picks reflections of the console on the TV screens, so it doesn't work right if there is any light in the room. Even in complete darkness, the colours are often wrong and white is always either blue or red, no matter how I adjust the settings.
Good vid. Small comment: at the end of the video when rating the 4 devices... why did you display Govee and Nanoleaf for the last 2? First put govee... then put nanoleaf. My opinion the Govee is the best.

just buy a Philips tv with build in ambilight. the lights will work even when using apps on the tv. (netflix/youtube etc)
HyperHDR + PicCap > Under 50$ and works with system apps too. (LG TVs)

The issue is that philips TV are not great anymore...
Phillips is best by far but expensive . Govee is a well deserved 2nd best . I own both and my phillips hue setup is far superior . I have the 65" play gradient light strip , 3 play bars for the bottom edge and 2 play gradient bulbs in lamps for either side of the room . All synced up using the PC Desktop hue gradient app as i watch content through pc and its GREAT . expensive BUT i saved £200 due to NOT NEEDING the SYNC BOX as the PC app does it all and its free.
I use prismatik lightpack which I find most accurate of all.

any idea whether that could integrate with any smart home platforms?
You are wrong about the Hue sync box, it does support 2.1 hdmi. I bought it and put it into my ps5 setup, now when i play games 120fps,60, or vrr all work perfectly, i think it was added by an update it really works. All you have to turn off in the ps5 settings is the ALLM, but leave vrr on naturally. Other than that it works and the sync is phenomenal. And if someone has a problem that the tv will sometime flicker black and then on again, just turn down the 4k transfer rate to -2 on the ps5, it doesn't effect the 120fps,vrr or anything with the hue sync box, but it solves the flicker problem. Hope this helps, i only wanted to share this. Love you video ;)

Hello, first of all, thank you for the review. I own TCL C745 Google TV. I am using Playstation 5. 120 hz, dolby vision and hdr are important to me. I saw that there was a problem with the HDR colors of the Lytmi Fantasy 3 model. For example, when HDR is on, the rear LEDs show red colors as orange. I'm very confused, I think a model with a camera is best.

The answer is, as mentioned in the beginning, none of these make ambilight as fun as the inbuilt ambilight in modern philips devices. So if ambilight is a factor for your purchase - go spend the money on a Philips tv.

Bad lol , its best to setup govee to allow for black bars and leave at that . The phillips hue stuff AUTO adjusts for black bars which is great , aswell as being the far superior one overall but is exspensive . You get what you pay for though.
I have the Nanoleaf 4D and I must have gotten a dud because I find it anything but immersive. Far too finicky to set up too, having to switch to 2.4ghz and multiple resets before I could actually get it all up and working. . With Govee products I have for example, you can set them up using bluetooth which is just easier. With HUE products I have you just plug them in and off you go, but they are admittedly far more expensive. The only true positive I have regarding the Nanoleaf 4D is that the camera is very discreet, especially if you put it on the TV stand as opposed to the mount on top of the TV.
