Very good👍. The present governor of my state enforced this once a month sanitation with no movement till 10am since January this year and my state has been cleaner than it was in the past government

The nerve. Lagos is a mess. None of the roads have been fixed, the potholes are getting dangerous and the rubbish is never collected on time. He should do his own job before disturbing the rest of us.

What part of Lagos do you live in? For one my street is tarred and it's not a major road. Your accusations sound like something that should be directed to the governor of Ogun State

I'm confused: is it weekly or monthly? The governor used both in the same sentence.

Weekly is for market places and monthly for residential areas. I think this is just to continue what Fashola did before Ambode stopped all of it.

😂😂😂😂😂 so it's weekly now. Which it used to be when i was a kid. Only Nigeria makes a big show of a small step forward after sliding back for miles like Michael Jackson

Cholera, Cholera here and there, but the Lagos state government hasn't been seen to be doing enough. Yes indeed! The state introduced the PPP Schemes - for their own political patronage & gain, I believed - but under this one-sided scheme, the poor public are compelled to pay more than fair share for dustbins 🗑 vendors; who mostly failed to keep to their right time (days) of taking away streets homes dustbins. Most of the time, weeks in arrears - leading to overflowing of domestic waste from homes dustbins 🗑 into the drainages, and pollution of the streets which leads to health hazard here and there breeding flies, bad odour, big rats infestation; aiding and abetting cholera. Lagos state government is quick to use its big hands of the law to compelled/punished homes owing bustbin levies, but closing eyes to punishing the defaulted PPP SCHEMES vendors(openly), who mostly failed to show up @ when due, up to 3whole weeks! Furthermore, where are all the "Greener Lagos " highways green 🌱 🌿 trees planting projects of former proactive governor Raji Fashola of Lagos state?! Ambode killed these schemes due to his lack of interest in funding its continuity. And what does this present government did to members of the public that cut down, or, uprooted these greener Lagos schemes plants and converted the spaces for their own use!

Interesting thing about Lagos is that they make laws and then they become strict about those laws for a few months and before you know it, everything goes back to the way there were. The most interesting part of it is that when the government makes these laws and start acting upon them the citizens will criticize the government for doing it and even say they're obstructing the livelihood of some people but when things go back to the way they are the citizens will be the ones to come back to complain that things are getting out of hand.
