Desantis publicly said he rather do his last 2 years of Governor than VP and besides that's great because when his term is up in January 2027 he should not run for any office in 2026 and launch his 2028 campaign at his farewell speech as Governor.

They're going to keep going up. I just got a projection. If the new people keep coming and demanding expensive homes. Developers will build the expensive homes which will raise prices on all homes in Florida as land become scarce to build on. Like in California. Why their prices are obscene. Now the same thing is happening here. Developers running amok and building like crazy. Projections are crazy. Sure, the price of the home will triple but nobody can afford the insurance and taxes. Poor Floridians are already hating the New Yorks and Californians moving in. Next the roads will need repairing and new schools. More hospitals.
