Is there a more delightful chorus than Gounod's Farandole in all of French opera? If so, I haven't heard it. Pure delight. My wife and I are going from "Nimes a Tarascon" in one month! Our first visit to Provence. I'll be listening to Gounod's Farandole in the lavender fields for sure!
