Might be one of the best game performances as a Ranger ever. They were 13 minutes away from "welp season ends on Saturday" and now they are asking for their next competitor. Definitely onpar with Messier's Game 6 hat trick in terms of stakes

@@VioletDeliriums Have you noticed that he stopped "running goalies" when the NHL changed the tripping rule that even if you get a piece of the puck first it is still tripping?. It stopped defensemen from last ditch effort dives that leads to trips, and magically he hasn't been talked about running goalies since then. Seems like too much of a coincidence.

On Kreider's first one: the Rangers, while watching Hurricanes film, noticed that their goalie, Anderson, frequently left a small space while covering the left post when moving from right to left. And on that goal you can see Zibanejad deliberately flick the puck right at his skate, and the puck wedging itself into that space, with Kreider knowing it was there to be slammed home. And it worked. Throughout this series when you see closeups of Anderson moving from his right to the left post the blade of his left skate is ON the base of the post BUT his ankle is canted inward, leaving that space.

Epic performance by Kreider, epic collapse for Carolina. I'm a Rangers fan btw, but while watching this game I was literally shaking I was so happy. Been watching Rangers hockey since 1993 and this is definitely a top 5 game all time imo. For the Canes, who I like btw, this has got to be one of their worst games of all time.

You gotta love all that BLUE sprinkled in amongst the "Caniacs". Now we have the powerful Panthers to deal with and they will probably be favored...but so was Team Overrated. All we heard all season was this team was the second coming of the '55 Canadiens and oh boy Jake Guentzel...God's gift to hockey and if I had a drink every time I heard "He scored all of these goals against the Rangers in the playoffs" I would be in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. Well, guess what. Your hero Jakey is working on his short game while our beloved Blueshirts are practicing for the East Finals. Love it.

Crazy game. The Rangers had no business winning this one, but I'm glad they did. It was not just a heartbreaker for Canes fans, but a stunning loss, as well as a stunning victory for the Rangers. The whole game I was frustrated and disgusted how they were getting outplayed. Then they somehow won in the end.

Yeah, as I'm sure has already been said, but I'll say it anyways, no need to zoom in on him / like a double-whammy for the kid, just the second one is now on KZread for him to have to have to deal with, most likely for a long time (school / bullying?). Poor taste in my book. Sportsnet/NHL/The Powers That Be, edit the kid out if you can, please.
