MUMBAI is surely on my bucket list of places to travel.

What distinguishes canon vada pav from others is that the potato filling is white as opposed to other vada pavs which have yellow bhaji filling.

Ya the Canon Vada PAv is my Favorite Stay IN Mumbai And have Gone To All Of this Places There is One Place Olympia Coffee House, Colaba, Mumbai We Get Awesome Food

This is where I grew up. And this will always be BOMBAY for me.

Sherry, you should try this place in Matunga called Manis. It's very tiny but the food is the best. Being a south Indian, trust me Madras Cafe isnt really that great. Manis might not look very appealing but the south indian food is sooooooo good! THE GHEE DOSA

You should have tried Tandoori Chicken, Mutton biriyani, mutton kadhai, Butter chicken(it's made from tandoori chicken pieces) and Faluda at Delhi Darbar in Colaba :) They have amazing food for very affordable prices. Everytime I am in India I skip all the fancy restaurants and queue up here to catch up on all the Desi food I've been missing :) When in doubt, head to Delhi Darbar :) ha ha ha

Yes it's true that vada pao is not prepared in very hygienic conditions but it's much healthier than the burgers of MCD's and KFC's and also all the Chinese food and also ur fav momos.

South India is known for South Indian food.. no one can beat that...come to Mysore and try the Mysore masala dosa and then say in Bombay it is the best.

Just a piece of advice ! A few meters down Madras Cafe is this really authentic eatry called " Amba Bhavan " . MAdras cafe has become very commercials and attracts the wannabe foodies "been there done that types '' . South indian Locals around King circle , matunga or even sion dont go to Madras Cafe ,coz they know its a sell out . Try Amba Bhavan once .

i couldnt agree more with you.it was more like really expensive stuff from mumbai and that too most was from south bombay. (she stays there).i wonder what happened to elco pani puri and famous pao bhaji. also i dont know about canon vada pao but there is the small stall outside borivali stn west who seems more famous than canon. (prakash or ashok,some marathi name i cant remember,but i have seen him alot in the news papers for best best vada pao) sherry i love you but then you just stuck to sobo
