That would actually be super cool,

So I've focused solely on Robin so far. If you build his elemental stuff right, it is absolutely insane, especially with electric. His ultimate does need a shorter cooldown though, I don't find myself really using it. Feel like his Knighthood tree wasn't that great as well.

I’ve also been maining robin. I find his gameplay very fun, and I’m not even a stealth first kinda guy. I recently reached endgame and I discovered his affinity for electric. It is definitely insane lol

Elemental builds with robin are insane, im having a ton of fun maiming him and he’s more OP than any of my other characters and I’m max level 40. This guys robin has all legendary gear but if you look at it there’s no elemental effects, that’s why he thinks he’s not good lol @5:15 you can see his build is bad

I main robin he is truth.I can wait till I get the gear I need with 4 mod slots it’s gone get nasty.

for everyone that doesn't like Robin's telaport ability I advise you to try and grapple away with the smoke bomb and immediately hold his telaport. you can take down enemies by hovering over them with your telaport. it's pretty broken. if you are inside. just use your cloak ability after the smoke bomb. if you are maxed out elemental. just swing your stick or range attack and watch the whole room explode 🤣🤣

Problem. Limited smoke bombs. Currently level 30 with only 1 ability missing but I've been disappointed with his elemental capabilities. Granted I am built for more stealth so dont have all the elemental stuff.

Robin can easily wipe whole rooms quicker than redhood I’ve maxed all characters with all legendary mods and Robin by far has the best room clear capability with just one skill

Yea I feel like it has to do because of all the elemental buffs he gains with his skills enemies are stuck on elemental effects longer and it’s easier to get them to that point with Robin as well

Literally once you're in the air with Robin all you have to do is hold down the r2 button you can go from one side of the map to the other without ever touching the ground

The only problem i have is how slow it is, i love playing as robin but his traversal mechanic is a let down for me, they should’ve just did teleportation like dishonored, and maybe have a prompt to teleport stealth kill when you see an enemy.

This person just seems to hate Robin, but Robin's fighting ability is far higher than that of Nightwing. Have you tried attacking after inflicting elemental damage?

@@laserbolt The only thing I heard you constantly complain about is his ultimate ( and not care for the rest of his abilities) and his stealth which is one of the main parts of his character but not the only and it is very fun also.There is way more to his character that doesn’t have to have every argument revolve around those things

Either way I really wish you could rebind momentum abilities. I get tired of single target abilities sometimes being on different buttons per character. I feel like Batgirl is the most balanced, but I really like Robin's proximity mines. His traversal is horrendous though. Redhood eventually feels really limited once his grabs stop working, and Nightwing's abilities sometimes feel awkward. Overall, I'd most want to play as Batgirl if I only had one choice. I at least get a lot of cake in the process.

Knightwing with stun on the triple dart building on elemental build up and using the speedy thing ability, i know its not intended but its very funny to just see bosses/enemies stand there taking darts to the face

I had to see why Robin was on the tier he was put in and I have to tell you, I love Robin. Playing him reminded me of when I played "Ghost of Tsushima" and I put on my stealth armor and cleared out entire camps undetected. It was great. So I am going to main Robin for a while. Great Vid, LaserBolt, I appreciate the time you are taking for this game.

Let's go, Batgirl mains

Ok so I've watched several of your videos on gotham knights now. I think they're the best I've found on youtube. I love DC and Batman, but I had reservations about the game since it was first shown, and nothing leading up to the release made me feel better about it. The UI looks really ugly but the game does look fun in your videos. Batgirl and Red Hood are my favorites so I'm glad they rated so high in your video. Looking forward to a build video for Red Hood. The game reminds of a cross of Batman x Destiny x Ninja Turtles.

For me, Robin has been the most entertaining and versatile in terms of gameplay. Very good for solo players as his stealth abilities let you take out a lot of enemies before the fight even starts. I'm not in a rush when doing missions so setting things up doesn't bother me - I agree though that his microbots skill reuse time needs to be lowered.

Hence why Nightwing wins most categories but then gets 2nd in top tier list😂 The load outs he has for all the heroes other than babs are just thrown together for the vid to show “hey I’ve ran them through one patrol and threw on what legendary I picked up.”

I liked robin and nightwing from the start but main nightwing as I can easily use more abilities (more bars) , move fast, and he flows nicely. I switch to robin once in a while because of stealth and he is close to nightwing with fluidity.

Really depends what you consider maxed out! Because it doesn’t looked like you focus on anything but power which doesn’t make your character stronger it’s just the indicator of rolls on gear to have chance at higher stats! Mods fluff the power on your gear by a lot! Most red hood builds maxed out are sitting at almost 60% crit and almost 300% crit damage you are like half of that…

@@gohansoloz2814 but hats what mods are for they juice up crut chance and elemental effect which in turn makes you stronger since u can inflict a shit ton of passive damage or deal crits more often which will deal way more damage, yes I get that raw damage numbers are important but as a robin player I rely on elemental effect to win fights cause I also deal twice as much damage to enemy’s afflicted with it

The list is right. However, just play the hero you want. The game is not that hard when you get used to the game. I personally like fighting style of Robin and Red Hood. Their combo is very fast and easily deal high DPS. Robin's combo has good AOE and his heavy attacks are quite fast. Red Hood's combo is the most simple and straight, not fancy, therefore he's very fast. His gun combo is super insane. Nightwing's combo is so fancy and for that it is quite slow. Batgirl is okay. Admit that Nightwing traversal is great.

Red hood is the the best character in Gotham knights, his range style fits perfectly in NG+ , building into crit dmg for his ranged attacks rather than his brawling style really will amaze you

Definetly wrong with the traversal. Batgirl should he S+ tier if you know the mechanic of her glide. Only then you can indefinitely glide forever and reach the height limit in the game. For those that don't believe me pick Batgirl and go into the city. While gliding, release the traversal button (R2) and immediately hold it again without touching the left stick. You'll get a small burst of speed which you can then use to gain a little height. Simply rinse and repeat and you can glide across the entire city. Your welcome.

Nightwing is No.1 by a mile: Best traversal (way better than Todd's), heal on momentum ability use (super handy for bosses), momentum regeneration, super fast combos and his triple shot ranged attack is just broken when equipped with an elemental attack type. Especially Ice. With the right mods one Triangle attack freezes any character and breaking it deals massive damage. He melts the harder enemies in no time, no need for his ult. He is so much better than the others its not even close...

I agree with most of what you said but Robin is stronger than you think with the right build and has better crowd control with Batgirl. Honestly I have all my characters built pretty well to a point there one or two tapping enemies. All I know is is that I've enjoyed this game much more than avengers. I couldn't stay committed to that game like I have gotham knights

Robin is objectively A tier and arguably S tier.

Am I the only one who feels Nightwing is squishy? I played the whole game as Nightwing, but I wanted to switch it up, so I played a Batgirl, and Red Hood for a time. After I switched back to Nightwing, I died in areas where Red Hood, and Batgirl survived.

I agree but i do think batgirls damage is one of the higher dmg in the game. well idk havent seen one with red hood yet so maybe his dmg is higher. im not finish grinding gear but 1 momentum bar i can still hit 60k with batgirl on hard difficulty.

I feel like redhood got it with his crits with ranged abilities and his grab chains and concussion bombs I would have to say his biggest weakness is the skinny league of assassins though. My friend plays babs and she’s easily and obviously the best support character. From heals to hacking cameras and hard hitting turrets. Shes also amazing with taking down people’s health quickly. The way we do it is by babs beating on people till they are 50% while I shoot gunners aimed on her and then I got in for the grab and throw them with the concussion bombs

Only tier list I agree with Except for batgirls traversal She can def nose dive and and glide to gain speed and slight height boost The game doesn’t tell you (I don’t think) but my years of playing the Arkham games it was second nature Edit: I obviously didn’t listen when you said she has it but it’s weak smh

Robin you have to go in and out of stealth , as long as it is not a mission that depends on defending a target (like the money ones or hacking ) yostealth attack one hit him a few times throw a few pellets and get out of sight . in the hard difficulites you cant just go into a very hardy mission and kill everone . enemies have tons of hp and hit hard and spam abillities like crazy. if you guys play on normal or easy is a whole different ball game than if you play on hard. Now were robin absolutely blows is in team play unless your co-op buddy is willing to play stealth too ,.

If you have the right build it isn’t hard. Also, on harder difficulties it doesn’t really matter how the enemies are tougher as you are in stealth and has no effect in his gameplay. If you meant that robin just has a harder time taking out enemies on a harder difficulty on e again just have a good build as every other character and highly use elemental abilities as that is where he shines outside of stealth. The same argument could be made about every character that on a harder difficulty you can’t just do everything you can do on normal but if you have the right build and know how to play the character, it is tougher sure but they can still easily beat other enemies l. Robin isn’t always focused on stealth once again as his elemental damage and use is the best and he is still strong

Batgirl is my favorite too. Should i play her on crit or elemental damage? Does it make any difference?

I think crit i main batgirl but I put 2 crit and 1 elemental mods and I be destroying enemies on very high difficulty

If your planning on going to 40 it doesn’t matter collect them before you start new game + then don’t collect them again until lv 40

@@SnoopVee if you need them I collected a few and realized they scaled by level then got the rest at lv 30 I was full lv 30 legendary sets when I New game + then I collected them all at 40 for min max purpose

Red Hood's concussive mine ability is insanely powerful once you get the capstone of that tree. It's not super great at taking down bosses. For that you want the crazy powerful guns build. But against huge mobs of enemies, grab one, kick it into the middle of the battlefield, and shoot him to send up a field of concussive death? I will literally forget about my momentum abilities because it shuts everyone down so well. I'm not at NG+ yet, so it's possible that it dips off in effectiveness later on, but right now it's so powerful and so satisfying. It also trivialized the Clayface boss fight. Like, I didn't use a single health pack, because he was so easy.

Red hood and nightwing everything is unlocked. Batgirl and Robin I think maybe the last character story icon didnt pop up that is supposed to. I think the last batgirl one I did was at a statue of her dad. And robin I think it was in the belfry. The last slit is still not there though, still a question mark in the menu.

It's almost fitting that Robin has the lowest stats all around since he's the youngest and has the least time with Bruce, while Nightwing and Batgirl have spent so much time with him. Red Hood is somewhat not the best since he does not have the values and therefore methods of Batman as much as the other two.

Only knightwing is legendary out even robin has epic mods

Robin honestly has higher stealth and the best knight hood abillity because of a takedown he can use easily has solid damage and good range

He can really do damage if you use combos properly and apply certain buffs to weapons and his skills he’s can be very powerful if you use him correctly

Nw can do great damage too but best damage dealers in order would be bg, rh, nw and then robin. I have min max em all, and nw range is arguably better than rh at times but if u go for smg build with rh then he is better, bg dmg is op, dealing over 100k dmg with one button output is ridiculous. I main nw but bg is the best in terms of dmg, survivability and defense. She just the best character by far and strongest. Robin requires too much setting up, while everyone else can just go in no set up needed.

Nah he’s best ranged shooter with precision aim you get like 20-30k a headshot besides he doesn’t build momentum on melee attacks

I totally disagree with number one absolutley I love playing nightwing if I'm focused enough and playing it good I can clear the high risk crimes without using even a 1 heatlh pack(playing on hard and seeing as you do dmg you're on normal {yes I was checking the diffrence bettwen normal and hard IT'S HUUUGE} even if it's league of shadows the hardest one is the court but sometimes I can manage and I (yes I'm gonna say) it wasted a lot of my time playing bat girl(I really wanted to like her bc I like the rest of the knights no that much as nightwing thou a big fan here) and she's awfull to play for me she's like so slow and stuff compared to nightwing but when I play red hood who's also slower than the first robin I can't quite feel that awfull heck I like playing red hood(but nightwing I love way more in all aspects) and as I'm someone with a natural talent for dodges I just find those tanky abilites lacking bc I'm not using them bc I don't have to and the beatdown? having me stand in one place for even 2 s is a punshiment to my playstyle I'm never staying in one place (yes it deals a lot of damage but for me it's not enough)for long and she's preety sentry like with some of her abilites you need to stand and use AR to hack with is litterly sentry mode and the beatdown for example so I can see where you're coming from but I totally dissagre bc I hate taking mobility away and batgirl is the least mobile char in the game in combat(not talking about the map travelering) the rest is preety much fine but I needed to comment on the batgirl bc I was really disapionted seeing her on the top where in my opinon nightwing shoud be (also in my opinon he's the hardest charactter to use but also the most fun one) and damn he's hot and I love his personality did I say I'm a big fan of him? heh love your videos btw

People sleep on Nightwing and I'm ok with that lol. I started out with him and thought he was pretty blah but once you start to get more skills, he can destroy mobs with less effort then the others in my opinion. I left Nightwing and went to Robin for a while but I keep coming back to Nightwing. Robin is easily my second because he is gimmicky but definitely harder for me to play with high difficulty situations. Despite the reviews, I'm loving this game and home they keep bringing out content quickly!

@@ccrawford7164 same case with me started out with nightwing didn't like it at first but after a while of playing robin I changed to him and never got back for a longer time to anyone else and duuuuude he looks really awsome in his knighthood armor

When I level up and unlock skill trees for one character, does that also unlock the other 3? I heard only the outfits you have to grind 4 times is that true?

AP applies to other characters. You’ll still need to unlock momentum abilities
