I was struggling to find anything, until I realised what I mostly cared about was that it was queer. Any mythological queer recs? Heard there's a sapphic selkie one, but how about mlm?

@@joebloe4734 in terms of myth creatures that are queer, I'm not sure. But for mythology recs with queer characters, there's The Song of Achilles. I'm reading The Goddess of Nothing at All right now (Norse) that has queer rep. If you find any more though, please let me know because I feel the genre is severely lacking even though a lot of mythology, especially Greek, is queer by nature.

Thank you for the recommendations! I plan on reading everything. If I may recommend something; I’ve just finished the Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi. It is an epic story that contains many fun depictions of Islamic and Persian mythological creatures.

Werewolves have held a deep fascination with me since I watched "An American Werewolf in London" in 1981. I enjoy reading novels centered on the lives and experiences of Werewolves. In particular, female werewolves. I find female Werewolves especially intriguing. I don't see Werewolves as creatures wholly divorced from their human selves. IMHO they are NOT unthinking, ravenous, densely furry beasts. I especially love reading novels that show the complex lives of werewolves across the world 🌎.

I highly recommend The Kitty Norville Series of Werewolf novels by Carrie Vaughn. Kitty is a young woman with a nationally syndicated nighttime radio talk show out of Denver, Colorado who also is a Werewolf. She starts out as the lowliest member of the local pack who through a variety of circumstances, becomes Pack Leader. She also comes to know vampires and various other mythological beings or lycanthropes. Fascinating stuff.😊
