When I started this review my expectations were very low because of the overall build quality of this scooter. For the same amount of money you can opt for a Segway Ninebot Max that has a better build quality. The GoRunner Pro10" is the flag ship of the Danish Company that at the time of this review has a number of 3 electric scooters in their portfolio.
Even so, the overall design of the scooter got me to buy the scooter and test it for you guys. I also enjoyed riding the scooter more and more as it is very comfortable with it's 10" wheels, it's long and wide deck.
It lacks a lot of things and this is my CONs list:
1. Quality. It feels cheap. Even the metal seems like it has been compromised when it was produced.
2. The Display - it is so basic that it makes Xiaomi seem from the future
3. The charger - no logo of the GoRunner company
4. No app - I really am bugged about this. On the official website, there is an app, but ONLY for one of their 3 scooters. So, when you are developing a fleet of 3 scooters you only have an app for one of them? And not even the high end model?
5. No Cruise Control
6. No lock/unlock using Bluetooth
7. No tweeking with the speed
8. In one Word - No BT
9. No bell
10. Max 70kg or 150 - On their official website, the indication of maximum weight for this scooter is 150kg but they recommend 120kg. On the wheels on the other hand, it is written: Max 70kg. So, which one is it?
The PROs are:
1. Great proportions
2. Great looks
3. Nice display
4. Nice brake light
5. More speed than expected
All in all the GoRunner is a nice alternative to the Segway Ninebot line-up, Xiaomi or the SoFlow.
