Guys, I just heard Gorod for the first time last week, they might be the best band I've ever heard.

@@InstrumentalArcanum No, just saying that because Necrophagist used to be the top metal band, but since they haven't released more than two albums in twenty years, Gorod has become my favorite teh-metal band.

Fuck these guys just absolutely nail it live it’s really impressive. There’s a few flubs here and there but the idea they can play this accurately given how technical it is, is really remarkable.

Because variety is the spice my man. And clearly most metal drummers are still double bass inclined.

does it matter to the sound whether it's double bass drum or double pedal, if the bass drums are triggered either way? i assume that is what you meant by double bass, right?

@@maaaaaap i know with triggers it sounds the same I just like the look of a double bass drum set and metal music it just doesn't sound like it looks
I used to listen to the whole of A perfect absolution atleast 3 times a week either on the long journeys to or from college (2012-2014), i live in such a shit place for metal music, the kind of town where you see someone in a maiden shirt and its as close as youre going to get 😂 Conversation about gorod or fleshgod or cattle decap? Acrania? Wanna hear about all my "recorded in a shed by one guy on 8 instruments" black metal recommendations? No chance 😂
I like the old vocalist a lot better I think his vocals fit the music more

Mouais, le chanteur fait des rots plus longs que moi… Blague à part, c’est pas dingue. Lorsqu’on écoute « un peu » du métal, on se rend compte rapidement qu’il n’y a rien de transcendant… (de plus sur ce live, la balance a l’air à l’ouest complet… cela ne doit pas aider non plus).
