And let me say that this facility feeds their gorillas. They eat constantly and teach them to do different things. They are spoiled rotten. Great bunch of caretakers. My hats off to them. . .look how happy they are mama playing with baby and making him laugh. Just so sweet.

@Bridgett Tubbs Thank you!! This gorilla family is adored, they get a big variety of food! So many people around the globe love them, a couple of admirers comment to please give them more fruit & vegetables. They get different vegetables, I think its Ms Hina who has posted pictures of the food they get. I have offered 2 times, if they feel that way, why not... each family can donate $1.00 a month to help with even more food variety? So many people visit & watch all the videos, why not give back? (Instead of still complaining) I try to watch an occasional video from other zoos... nothing is even similar to this intelligent loving family (only slightly is Shabani's troop). I love the excellent quality the Kyoto Zoo videographer that records, edits, & uploads them to KZread! They have so many different things for them to climb & swing from! I think of food & exercise equipment that other zoos, & the Mnt gorillas share? They do not have big gardens to eat from.. no broccoli, celery, etc. Maybe a few berries here & there. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

One thing with kintaro he never gives up every never.his big brother was so Instrumental in that area he played perfect with him AMD even though genki paid close attention and genetaro being hand raised her didnt understand genki was super protective of baby what's the time she didnt put kintaro down for seven months! Yet look at him hanging from the very top. And he learned numbers from mostly .well peanuts but he follows his brothers lead .sticks up for his mama kintaros love for his mother and brother is beautiful

They have a nice activity center. Thankyou very much. Most delightful. SO tiny and to see his growth and development.

Gorilla fans just think last year mum was holding on to kintaro,s foot what ever but now she's doing loads better now she's giving kintaro alot more freedom now even with Gentaro and kintaro together she seems much more relaxed

Kintaro is looking at him like don't touch my but you want to fight? So his dad just knocked him over. He likes to copy what his father does. So cute.

OMG! I keep looking at the amount of days old Kintaro is in this video. OK my kids walked at 9 months and crawled out of their cribs at 1 yrs of age, but never would i have been able to see them hang from a beam in the ceiling or climb up a wall to jump into a hammock. lol What a demonstration of strength for such a little thing and he has no fear, a brave little boy for sure.

The mother is chewing on that tree branch , it's a berch tree , it taste like beachnut gum sticks, my mother use to take us out into the woods and teach us how to find that tree and eat the bark for that taste of berch, my mother was Indian and had 18 kids, no we didn't eat the bark , lol just chewed on it, to settle a sick stomach, it worked, I thinknthats why she's chewing on the tree branch, just a little history lol lol tks

Momotaro finally gets to touch his baby after a year of just watching him play and grow up.. I never thought that this day would come but it did and it was Kintaro who made the move to get to know his Father. Genki was reluctant to let Momotaro get near Kintaro but she let them alone and they got closer. Someday Kintaro and Momotaro will play together like Momotaro and G. That’s going to be a great day.

It would be nice or them to hear regular forest noises like their families in the real world of gorilla’s, Africa instead of silence ,cement, dirt n no green grass to lay down on, (it makes me feel so bad, that this is the only pathetic way to save them from those awful cold money desperate men who don’t care how many they wipe out or traumatize ) all they hear all day is humans, no. Beautiful jungle noises not even towards evening and at night when they all settle down on their cement beds like prisoners, so so sad, just a little bit of their normalcy for them would be nice, anyway😢

Folks little Kintaro didn’t get one piece of his birthday treats. His gluttonous mom ate everything and Kintaro got a piece of orange and she grabbed it from him and ate it herself. The only treat he got was from his keepers in the cage. Gentaro hid in the box so she couldn’t see him and ate his birthday treats.

Mama Genki is so frightened for Kintaro when he ventures into the box with his Papa Momotaro. She keeps her eyes intently on them both while holding her head. I know she just wants to scoop her baby in her arms and take him away from there but doesn't dare to move a muscle. It made me sad to see her so scared. :'(

Lourdes you are wrong... in that marriage.. Genki is the one who’s wearing pants... she is the Boss... Momotaro always respect and follow what his wife wants.. it seems that you barely watch this family’s videos... Genki let Kintaro to be in a box with his dad but remember that Momotaro is. 350 pounds silverback so Genki needs to always keep her eyes on Kintaro..
