You really have to show respect to a being that can throw you and rip you in half and not break a sweat. I blame the parents…. Kids need to be taught respect and they must be.

I love how Zhara will extend herself as much as possible while still holding on to mom tightly lol. Shes just too cute ❤. Its so sweet how her mom waits so patiently for her to catch up...letting baby explore a little before hitching a ride on momma's back again.

I work at a daycare, and the way she never realizes she can move where she’s holding in order to extend her reach (from arm to, say, back or buttocks) heavily reminds me of my toddlers. You just watch them walk past the solution to their problems like 8 times and they’re just so damn cute but also oh man…. you’re TINY tiny

Don’t understand why parents let their kids make such noise and then if something happens the gorilla is the one who gets in trouble, soo sad!! Teach your children to respect all animals

What frustrates me is people confuse the Bronx zoo bachelor Barraca with this troop leader Baraka! They were arguing with me about Barraca’s brothers at Dallas zoo. I just refer them to your channel! 😂

@@zoogoer I think Barraca has a hair issue like his brother Zola at Dallas zoo. Zola is the Silverback famous for his splash dance in the pool! That’s what a person was arguing with me about.

@@MySkinnydip We need a family chart to keep up with all the gorilla family. Do you also watch the Kintaro family?

Zoos will often do exercises of a threatening nature to get the Silverback react and go into protection mode. It comes naturally out in the wild but captive primates have had that taken from them. Plus it breaks up the boredom.

HI Kathy - Yes, that was Nicole throwing the sugarcane treats. She has the best job! I never heard Baraka vocalize like he did today and Moke was also curious and wanted to know what's going on. They are such a delight to watch! I can't believe our Z girl will be one on May 27th!

@@kathy93551 She still so tiny compared to Baraka and Calaya but definitely has a big personality. I call her Zahra the explorer because she's so curious about everything. Moke is a good son and brother.

Teach your children it is your responsibility and theirs to be conscientious not to eat flesh or to drink milk or any other species after passing the age of 18 months to 2 yrs of age from your own mother but not to go on to be consuming meat and milk it is destroying this earth. Our ozone is ruined because of this.

What a shame yyou cut down the trees! Just stumps instead of real trees. 👎
