Someone was staring into his eyes probably. Gorillas are extremely peaceful animals. No, you may not be able to hug and kiss them but they're not the monster people like to portray them as.

Correct. They're actually quite peaceful and gentle.

You can see how bored they are by the over grooming themselves

They need females for a troop. Bring them Komomo and Momoka. They need silverbacks from Japan.

They won't do it.Just keep letting the dad sex them.And by having them on birth control pills they think they are in control. The one daughter holds her ear so who knows what's that about.They should had a plan once those GIRLS were born.I heard Japan zoo is horrible so not many zoo's want to partner with them.A mom who is older and tired and refuses the male .What the heck they thought would happen?

Exactly. In the wild the likes of humans would look down until he passed, must be infuriating to them seeing humans act against what is natural to them (the gorillas) behind an invisible wall.

I visit often and the visitors are loud 🙄 kids beating their chest at them, etc. I gotta admit the atmosphere is really cool despite the noise. Hell, i be so excited when i visit this part of the Bronx Zoo. Gorillas are my absolute favorite animal ever and they're all so beautiful.

I agree, it is way too loud and disturbing 😳 but the Bronx zoo is part of the conservation society and invest a lot into animals lives

I think the display was for Barraca and not the crowd.

I would love to see more videos of them two , both is very Beautiful ❤❤❤

Gorillas are gentle and sensitive animals. All the noise must be frightening to them. Also, we do not see what the humans are doing. I’ve seen humans beat their chests, which is a threat to a silverback, or stare at them, which is also a threatening gesture. Zoos are a necessary evil. These animals will be extinct one day without breeding programs. However, zoos should be much more willing to educate visitors about things that scare the animals, and to respect them by not being threatening towards them. Are there any females for these male gorillas? They need mates.

Only people who have never been to prison say this. And these gorillas were born in captivity, wouldn't they have to get captured as adults, then put in zoos for it to be considered prison

Ban all zoos. Animals should be free in the wild. Shame on people for paying to gawp at these beautiful creatures.

I seen a gorilla in a uk zoo majestic animal beutifull nobody should enclose these beasts not right I could see sadness in there eyes

These are wild magnificent animals need to be free zoo owners need to be put on display like these are No can't do that it would be cruel and they would protest What about the animals it is all about MONEY MONEY MONEY

They wouldn’t survive In the wild since they were raised in captivity. What zoos really should do is stop allowing them to breed and phase them out !
