My best friend boy, whom Annie had enjoyed playing with many times last year, came to visit me at the zoo.
Annie remembered him well and appealed to him through the glass many times.

The shelf hangout in the room where the girls go reminds me of the little rascals and the woman haters club , except the reverse. The Ai is a great Mom! I luv her free spirit hippy like behavior. Sometimes she's in a world of her own. Doing her open arm spins in an open field of flowers. Kiyomasa tried the trump move at 8:47 but Annie wasn't having it 😂

Wow, the gorillas were uncharacteristically social today - all grooming, playing, interacting with visitors. It’s nice to see them all in such a bright mood - even if Shabani doesn’t like their interest in the humans!!!

Shabani wants to make sure that the “ boy “ is safe to play with his princess!
I can see parents bringing their kids to see Nene and saying, “See? She only has one tooth and she still eats her vegetables! What’s your excuse, Tsugumi?!”

These animals know when they are around children, they even start to calm down and become more playful! Amazing awareness from these souls!

All animals belong in their natural habitat. Unless an animal needs sanctuary, I hate zoos. The magnificent intelligent creatures belong in nature. I am sad.
Anni es bella le encanta interactuar con los niños Nene es la gorila mas adulta y regañona como come con un solo diente es un ejemplo de inspiracion pero es admirable el cuidado del zoologico con esos animalitos excelentes 100pt ellos no se enferman tienen el cuidado de poner sus alimentos en el cemento limpio muchos vegetales estan muy bien cuidados Nene tiene su pelo bellisimo pero le dan lechugas y col frescas y suaves lss puede comer y la alimentan Sabanis es tan bello y tan buen pafre

I’m sure there is a dental surgeon somewhere who would be willing to do dental implants on Nene. Implants would certainly improve her ability to eat harder foods as well as improve her digestion. She is a darling.

We would use coconut halves on our chest to communicate with them. When it got too much, nene would show up, again to calm the matter.

I think he's not happy with her around strangers, a protective thing. Or could be he's jealous, he loves Annie and gets a little peeved when she plays/pays attention to others.
The vegies soft boiled for NeNe. Do you sell stuffed animals. I'd buy all for me🎉. Such a gorgeous family.

Theres something so unique about this gorilla troop with shabani, nene and kiyo they are just unique.. really interesting to watch. I don't like seing them where they are and i never will..
She gets angry when she sees that you are looking directly into her eyes. You should wear glasses that depict eyes looking in the other direction.

I don't understand why they are given Iceberg lettuce that has ZERO nutritional value. Romaine lettuce and Spinach has much more nutritional value, especially Spinach. I would love to know how the Zookeepers decide on what to feed them.

I don't know about everyone else, but when I watch videos like this, it is entertaining, but at the same time saddening. They are obviously miserable being stuck there in their man-made prison, always being observed by human creatures.

I'm not sure where this is but these poor gorillas look like they're living in a prison! Their outside area totally lacks any jungle feel with trees and room to roam around and inside is just cement!! I hope they can spend some money to give them a more natural surrounding!! It's very sad!!

On sent la dépression chez un des gorilles, il s'isole, mais un autre gorille vient le réconforter. Les espaces où les gorilles vivent sont vraiment très petits et sans rapport avec la nature de ce qu'ils sont. C'est plutôt triste.

Where are these poor gorillas being held? The environment is totally inappropriate for intelligent primates. These cousins of ours deserve to spend their time inside a space that attempts to mimic a natural environment. Zoo keepers should be very ashamed.
