This video was taken in April 2021.
As usual, as Kintaro approached Momotaro, Momotarou suddenly grabbed Kintaro a little harder.
So Genki protested Momotaro and protected Kintaro.
But Kintaro didn't seem to be afraid of Momotaro after that.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

I don't think that Momo wanted to hurt Kintaro. He just wanted to stop him to jump from so high without supervision. They both love their children, they just have a different way to show it. I love that family!

Genki is the Best Mom I’ve ever watched taking care of her Baby. And also to her older Son. This entire family is so amazing to watch. They definitely sho love for one another. Even though Daddy Gorilla 🦍 gets a little rough with his baby. He’s extremely loving towards his wife and kids. Love the way Mommy Gorilla 🦍 gets on to him for being rough and how Daddy knows he better listen to her or else 😅. Thank you to the zoo for caring and sharing these wonderful Animals with everyone. ❤

Wow ,mom is definitely in charge ,this was years ago , I believe that MoMo would never repeat this treatment of his loved ones ever again ,because Ginki has showed him how to handle himself❤️
その後が気になっていたのですが ビビりながらもキンちゃん、 モモくんとふれあえていて ホッとしました😆 キンちゃんはモモくんにビビり モモくんはゲンキさんにビビる😅 ゴリラファミリーのピラミッドの 頂点は、やはりゲンキさんですね‼️

モモタロウちょっと乱暴過ぎたね! ゲンキ母さんの声すごかった！ 直ぐモモタロウはキンタロウ離したね。モモタロウもビックリしたかな？ 何だかモモタロウの寂しげな背中が愛おしいね。 反省！

He is an amazing father and is respectful of Genki. Genki is a legend. I pray that with the right care she will live to see her sons become adults. There have been gorillas that have lived into their 60’s. Having her babies later in life will keep her young❤️😍🥰 The caregivers are doing an excellent job overall. The fact that they have figured out how to feed them and keep the food rivalry in check has allowed for good relationships to develop.

@@smokkey1370 Momotaro gets aggressive if their's food around. Maybe their was something he didn't want Kintaro to eat before he did. Just a guess. That's the roughest I've ever seen Momotaro act towards his son. Not typical behavior of him towards Kintaro. I think Genki's scolding made it worse than what it was and she also scared Kintaro. But like they say, you never mess with a mother's children. Human mother's, mother's in the animal kingdom will go to great lengths to protect their offspring

Momotaro was a little rough. But he does not want to hurt Kintaro. I think sometimes he just does not recognize his own strength. 🦍💪

I thought he was entirely too rough with him too and it didn’t look like playing to me.
Awww Momotaro wasn’t trying to hurt his son especially back then. He was just trying to play with him and just like Gentaro back in those days he wasn’t quite sure how much force or strength he should have been using with Kintaro which they both learned to adjust and Kintaro stopped being scared of his dad as much.

Momo seems to be a little irritated today at Kintaro. He was a little rough with him. He seemed to be following him right after that also. But as always Kintaro did not seem to let it bother him at all. He is the best little gorilla Ever. Always happy and finding things to occupy himself with daily.
